Author's note: each chapter of this book will be in a different POV. You can tell who's POV it is by the picture at the top of the chapter. The blonde is Freya and the brunette is Sofie.

Freya's family is perfect. White picket fence perfect. On the exterior at least. Money has never been an issue, she gets along well with her parents, they go on family trips and spend time together. They're like a family from the Disney world ads. Perfect. Ideal. Fake.

Freya looks up from her book, awoken from her trance as she hears a clatter and more shouting than before. "Fuck you, Darren" She hears her mother's usually sing-song voice saying frustratedly.

Freya sighs as she moves to cover her head with her pillow, hearing the sound of her parents' exasperated voices back and forth at each other creeping under her skin. She opens and reaches into the drawer under her bed, retrieving her silver laptop and perfectly clean, white headphones.

She plugs in her laptop and takes her bookmark from her nightstand, sliding it gently in between the pages of the book she was reading. She doesn't really like that bookmark. It has a cutesy farm animal picture on it.

She closes her book carefully, making sure not to crease the cover and places it on the bed beside her. She opens up her laptop and shuffles her 'Perfect' playlist, drowning out her parents' arguing. Any day now, one of their arguments will be their last.
