Chapter 20

Rachel's POV

I woke up today super excited I was finally going to see my dads and spend my last 2 weeks with them I'm ending the summer just right. I got up from bed took a shower , brushed my teeth, and changed into some sweatpants and a black tank top. I went downstairs and started to clean even though there's not much to clean but still I want it to be spotless. I started to get hungry so I cut up some fruit to eat I went to the couch sat down and watched some tv until I heard a knock on the door. I got up and open the door it was Finn.

"Good morning beautiful" he said with a smile and kissed my cheek as he walked in

"Good morning handsome" I said as I closed the door

"How you sleep last night?" As we walked to the couch

"I couldn't sleep I was too excited but I did feel lonely without you next to me" I said

"I did too babe" he said with a smile

Just then Santana came downstairs with her pjs and sat on the other couch.

"Hey Frankenteen" she said

"Hey San" he said with a smile

"Good morning Rach" she said

"Good morning San" I said with a smile

"So what time are your dads coming today?" Finn asked

"They should be coming right now they said will be here around 8 or 9 maybe it was a delay flight or something" I said

"Probably" Santana said

"Okay anyways are you hungry do you want some cereal?" I asked Finn

"No thanks I ate at home already " he said

"Don't mind me I'll get some cereal since tubby here doesn't want any" she joked

"Nice one Santana" he said with a laugh

We were watching Haunted House 2
and half way through the movie Brittney came to hang out. It was already 11 and my dads still haven't showed up and it was weird they would of called me by now or something.

Just then a knock on the door took me out of my thought I got up from the couch and answered the door it was two police officers.

"Is this the Berry's residents?" The one of the officer asked

"Yeah is there a problem?" I asked confused

"Can we talk to Rachel?" The other officer asked

"I'm Rachel how could I help you?" I was so confused why they were here

"Can we come inside and talk to you?" They asked

"Yeah but can you guys wait my dads are on there way" I said and they gave each other a glimpse and looked back at me

"Sweetie we need you to sit down" they said

"What's going on?" I said scared

"Rachel maybe you should sit down so they talk" Santana said

"No I'm fine standing up so what's going on?" I said really upset now

"We hate to inform you but Southwest airlines flight 79 coming from Washington D.C to Lima, Ohio has been in a terrible plane crash they say it was the fuel tank that explode" the officer said looking sad

My whole body was just frozen I couldn't move like my whole world just came crashing down.

"NO you're wrong my dads are coming" I said with tears building up
