Chapter 1 - lets go

As week one sets in during quarantine , I get so many messages from my best friend Anna. Anna hoss is my best friend we have known each other sense the first grade. As She continues to message me and asks me, " where are you?".
As Im packing my stuff getting ready to leave I message her. " I'm coming I just walked outside". As I look around nobody is anywhere to be seen. As you may wonder why am I by myself, my parents died in a car crash when I was eight years old and It's been tough but, loosing them makes me think, why would I mope around like a sick pup. I just repeat to myself everyday in the Mirror, " Rebecca Donald pick yourself back up where you left off". As to my aunt glen has been my guardian ever sense they died . "are you alone" She texts me. With mysterious suspicion. " yes I'm alone aunt glen is sleeping I just left I'm on my way, I packed everything that I think we might need to survive this world that has become a bundle of dirt dobbers". I say with scarce in my breath. I walk down the road wondering if anyone is okay, I think to myself nobody understands why we are in quarantine not even me. I don't know what is gonna happen which is why me and Anna are going on our own, you can't trust nobody. "Alright when you get here we will head east to the clock tower in town and stop at a grocery store and grab a few things that we think we might need." Anna texts me. " okay I'm almost there", I text her. I knock on her door and she rushes to open it, as she opens the door quickly she pulls me in. " okay okay let's hurry and let's go" I say. Waving my hand at her to come on. " I have to grab Felix" she whispers. Felix is her stuffed animal she has had sense she was two, her grandma gave it to her right before she passed away, it's means the world to Anna if anything happened to that stuffed animal she would have a serious of unpredictable melt downs , one time she lost Felix and she cried until she couldn't see, .   She comes down stairs and she grabs her suitcase and tell me to help her pack a bag. " why haven't you already done this Ann" I say with slite disappointment. " well I was trying to wrap everything around my head so that took me a few minutes" she says with a smile. "Well for starters you need everything you use on the daily like your toothbrush and stuff like that" I say as I bite into a apple that I found on her desk. " when am I gonna brush my teeth I mean we're are gonna be outside sleeping on the cold ground" she looks at me like I'm crazy". I start laughing and I tell her to hurry her ass up. " I'm done let's go" Anna say looking at me as she zips up her bag. As we comes down the stairs and grabs my hand she quickly opens the door. We both gasped.
