Slavia Ice sports Rink

Joan Papadakis POV (coach)

Arriving to the rink, I started searching for Armonia. I was somewhat calm, given the fact that she always sneaks out to train in the middle of the night, I figured she'd be here.

She thinks I am unaware, but I raised her, I know her enough to figure out where she is off to and for what reason.

Truth be told Armonia was a troubled spirit ever since I could remember her. Form the age of two, she had a fiery persona, unmatched to any of her siblings. But that being said, she had a switch. Her family was stinking rich, enough to buy me off and have me devote my loyalty to shady people.

Quite frankly I don't know how she hasn't figured it out already. Her family is careful, but she is smart. In fact she would make an incredible addition. Armonia was just now getting a taste of international skating competitions, and she was talented.

Her heart wasn't in it, not a hundred percent at least. It was like she was using it as a distraction, to prevent herself from caving in. She had a passion in it, and could go far, though personally I didn't see it in her future. Besides her family was a household name back in Greece, but i doubt that Mr Demopoulos was eager to have his daughter being an international renounced skater, and as a result attract unwanted press.

Rounding the corner, i was met with a freshly cleaned ice rink. Empty.  Panic started started sinking in.

"Μαρία, που είναι η Αρμονία, τι κάνατε εχθές το βράδυ και γιατί λείπει απο την προπόνηση;"

(Maria where is Armonia, what were you up to last night and why is she absent in this session?)

She started blabbering, though i paid no mind, I scavenged my brain to try and piece together where the hell she could have gone. She was impulsive, but not stupid and for sure too dedicated to miss practice to run away or

Shit. She was out of her room last night roaming with the Italians on the very same building. I am for sure going to be brutally murdered.

"Everyone warm up, I want you on the ice by the time I return, move."

Hurriedly waking through the building, I make the call with trembling hands.

"Sir, I'm afraid we have a problem"

"Spit it out Joan I don't have all day"

"Armonia is gone"

The line went dead, beads of sweat were starting to form on my forehead, awaiting his next orders.

"How could you be so fucking useless! You know that she is needed, and with fucking Italians on the loose! Dammit I should have never trusted you with this. Listen closely, this doesn't get out, no one must find out , otherwise we're all dead."

"Yes sir"

"You stay there play fucking nice act like nothing is wrong, I will handle this"

Now the line actually went dead, leaving me a trembling mess. Not so much for me, but for Armonia. She had her whole future ahead of her, poor girl. All hell was about to break loose.

Armonia POV

Cracking my eyes open, I tried to remember what had happened. Slowly getting in an upright position, I took in my surroundings. Surprised to find out that I was in a lavish bedroom. Across from me was what looked to be an en-suite bathroom. The room was very spacious, almost making me mistake it with my own back at home. My head was still fuzzy, and my limbs were aching. A sudden rush of all the recent events flooded my mind.

I was on a plane and then I was drugged. Which means that I can be in any god forsaken country with no money or phone or any way to escape for that matter. I had to play it smart. Dashing around trying to escape like a wild animal in a cage could only make things worse for me.

I slowly got up from the bed, approaching the windows, the room I was in was 4 stories high, and the window locked.

Calmly approaching the door I tried to open it silently, only to find out it was locked as well. As I imagined.

I took a breath and my gaze fell on a mirror. I looked like shot. I decided to take a shower to clear my mind, I wasn't going anywhere anyway.

Dario POV

"I'm telling you, we have to kill her, I searched her name dozens of times nothing comes up, do you see the fucking monitor she is a damn psychopath! She was kidnapped, witnessed a murder, held at gun point and drugged two times, do you see her batting an eyelash? She is taking a fucking shower. Nothing comes up it's like she doesn't exist, off the radar! Why don't we just get rid of her already wh-''

"Why don't you shut the fuck up for a minute and remember your place, Marco"

I spoke gruffly. He had been biting my ear off since we arrived yesterday about this girl.

"Why do you care about her in the first place? She hasn't resisted yet, and we could kill her anytime. We have more important issues at hand"

"She is going to cause big trouble remember that"

"Marco, listen to Dario, we have a possible merger on our hands, if it goes smoothly they could turn against us and lose everything. We worked hard to go international, any interferences at this crucial stage could mean that everything goes to shit!"

"A fucking merge with who stronzo? The Greeks don't even have a daughter to marry off to Dimitri. It's just conspiracy to rattle us, just as we go international. Do you actually think that the Greeks would even consider merging with the Russians after everything that has happened?"

With that he stormed off the room. I sighed, the familiar ache of a massive headache consuming me.
