Chapter 6

Athena's pov

One week later

I just completed two paintings and was glad that I had received payments for other four which gad aldready been delivered. I was over all in a nice mood. I was thinking about having some wine and drank some, I think I can handle that much. I was relaxing at home when I heard the door bell ring.

When I opened it I saw it was Jeremy. 'Oh hiiiii!' I said to him hugging him. 'Athena, what's the matter?' he asked surprised. 'Nothing, I was in a really good mood right now and just wanted to see someone, who better than you right?' I asked looking at him.

'Did you drink something?' he asked me. 'Just a little bit of wine. I can handle that much.' I said to him. 'C'mon, come inside.' I said to him pulling him inside. 'Did you have dinner?' I asked him. 'Yes I did, I just came over here to ask you....' He started saying. 'Forget about it, dance with me.' I said to him starting some music. 'Do you really want to dance with me?' he asked. 'Yeah why not?' I said. Maybe alcohol was taking over me but I didn't care. He selected a song and stood beside me. Taking my hands we both started dancing together slowly. It was a really romantic song. I don't know if it was my imagination but I felt him looking at me rather intensely. He suddenly put both my hands on his shoulder and shifted his both hands to my waist and pulled me a little bit closer to him. He pulled me even closer and put his head between my shoulder and neck. The music had stopped but he remained like that for some time. 'Jeremy, the music has stopped.' I said in a whisper. 'So?' he asked lifting his head. He gazed into my eyes and cupped my face and our lips were inches apart. 'Jeremy, what are you doing?' I asked him. 'This.' He said smashing his lips on mine. It was intense, really intense. His both hands shifted to my waist again and my hold tightened on his shoulders. He kissed me till we both were out of breath. After that he nuzzled my neck again.

'Jeremy, we shouldn't.' I said to him. 'We should.' was all he replied. 'I am technically engaged and running away from my fiance Jeremy who you are working for. This.... This will have consequences.' I said to him. He lifted me in his arms and carried me to my bedroom. Putting me down and sitting beside me he said, 'Let all of that go to hell, we will handle everything, don't ruin the moment.' He said leaning on again to kiss me. 'But, we both are.... Friends.' I said pulling back a little bit. He pulled me a little bit closer and said, 'I have never met a girl like you Athena, I am falling for you, I have fallen for you. I know we will work this out. Please don't resist me, I know you are feeling something for me too. Welcome that feeling for once Athena. Open your heart for me, don't run away from me. Please.' He said leaning in and our lips met each other once again.

We had a very heated make out session. It felt like it was just me and him in this worksld right now. Soon the alcohol started taking a toll on me and I felt dizzy. I wanted to sleep but this time I wasn't alone. He was beside me, holding me. I can't worry about tomorrow right now, I things will work out. Right now I was in his arms.
