Sonic's POV:

After Tails had ran off to his house, I had began to walk to my house. I know I got an idea and took out my ear buds, plugged them into my phone, put them in my ears and turned on some music then put my phone into my pocket.

I began jogging and soon enough I made it to the park where I decided to cut through for a short-cut.

I was jogging through the park when I came across that little yellow two-tailed fox again so I stopped jogging and walked over to him since he was sitting on a bench. I sat beside him, which I believe startled him a bit since he quickly looked over at me.

"Hey Tails," I smiled at him so he knew I was no threat.
"You okay? You kinda look like you're lost in your thoughts." I chuckled and gave him a head pat which made him smile a bit.

"Hi Sonic, I'm fine I just...I don't want to go home yet..." Tails had began to frown which upset me.

"Uhh.." I looked up at the sky.
"Wanna come to my place?" I looked over at him and he looked at me with the sweetest smile.

"I can? I would really appreciate it.." Tails began to fidget with his fingers.

"Yeah, let's go then, follow me." I began to walk with Tails following me from behind.

After a few minutes or so, Tails and I finally made it back to my house.

I unlocked the door, opened it and stepped inside the living room with Tails stepping into the house behind me.

"Well, this is my house." I looked back at Tails as he was shutting the door.

"Wow... did you buy this place?" His eyes sparkled with joy.

"Yeah, I did." I smiled and placed my backpack beside the couch.

"Woah, that's cool!" Tails smiled at me so I smiled back.

"Make yourself at home, I don't mind." I gestured for him to check out the place.

"Okay!" Tails ran over the couch and sat down.

"I'm gonna go set up the guestroom for you, be right back."I waved to him and went upstairs.

I turned the light on then I grabbed some blankets from the closet and set them up on the guestrooms bed. I put a few more pillows on the bed and thought for a minute or two before I convinced myself that everything is fine and that I didn't need to worry so much.

I walked out the room, turning the light off as I did so and headed back downstairs to see that Tails was watching some TV.

Tails's POV:

I was sitting down on the couch while Sonic had went upstairs to go set up the guest bedroom for me, which I believe is really kind for someone to set up a room for me even though I'm only spending a night here.

I looked around for a remote to the TV and eventually found it on the coffee table in front of the couch.

Don't get me wrong but the house is really nice looking, the couch was a tan color and the love seat was also tan. There was a oakwood color coffee table and then tables beside the couch and love seat were an oakwood color too! The walls of the living room were a peach color, which made the house feel cozy. The TV was a flatscreen TV but it wasn't to small or too big, it was the perfect size, you know? And it blended well with everything, everything was perfect!

I turned on the TV and began to watch this weird show, I didn't catch what it was called though.

Soon enough after I was watching TV, Sonic came back downstairs and told me that the room was set up and ready for me.

Third Person POV:

Sonic had sat down besides Tails on the couch.

"What show is this?" The azure hedgehog has questioned while examining the TV show.

"Uh... I didn't catch what it was called, sorry..." the yellow fox had apologized.

"Ah, it's okay. No need to apologize, buddy." The Hedgehog said softly and patted the top of the young fox's head and the fox had nodded and continued to watch the show.

The two furries had talked about random things like what they like, dislike, their hobbies, etcetera. They talked for hours and became closer as friends. Eventually, it got pretty late and the two had headed off to their rooms and soon enough, drifted off to sleep.
