«Let's go, Y/n, you can do this! » you thought for yourself.

You were walking in the street, looking everywhere around you, to make sure you weren't being followed. You needed to make it to Seoul to be safe, at least for now. You knew that they wouldn't start to search here and that it would give you some time to... To do what? You didn't know, but you weren't as weak and defenseless as you were. You learned from your mistakes. They didn't.

You just had to find a new job, without giving too much information on yourself. You stole money before leaving. Well, it wasn't really stealing, since they made that money on your back, but still, you didn't like to do this. You had to, though. For you. For her.

But you didn't want to remember.

You had to forget, for your good. You shook your head and you focused on the road. Nobody could stop you. An from now on, you decided nobody will stop you.

-I'm sorry, but we don't hire any more.

-No, it's okay. Sorry for disturbing you! you said.

-But if you want, I think Center coffee is hiring, answered the old lady at the counter.

-Thank you so much!

You exited the store, sighing. It was the tenth store you tried to apply and it was the tenth to reject you. You decided to try at the coffee the old lady suggested and to go back to the apartment you rent if you get rejected. You searched the location on your phone, glad it was near your apartment, and you headed to «Center Coffee ».

As you came in, you were surprised by the number of people there was. You had a hard time trying to hear you think because of the noise. You kind of liked it. It was different. A good different.

-The girl at the counter saw you and said:

-Hi! Welcome to Center Coffee, how may I help you?

The girl was really pretty, with ginger/red/orange hair and black eyes. She looked your age and seemed really nice.

-Hum, well I heard that you were hiring...

-OMG yes! Finally, someone who looks normal! Come with me, I'll show you to the manager!

-Okay... you said, unsure of why she said that.

-Don't look too tense, he will not eat you! He's really kind, honestly.

She walked through some doors and you followed her. An old man, around 60, was sitting, doing some paperwork.

-Chung-Ho! Someone is here to be hired!

-Oh, dear, you can make the job interview, I trust you to make the right choice.

-Thank you!

The girl motions the door and you got out, unsure of where you should go.

-You're hired! said the girl.

You looked at her, bewildered. Surely it couldn't be as easy. She didn't even interview you!

-By the way, I'm Lisa! I look forward to working with you! You look my age, I'm 22!

-I'm  Y/n, nice to meet you! I'm also 22, in fact.

-Aaaaah, that's so cool! I finally have a girl coworker that is my age! I was working with boys and older girls, it was kind of boring. Well, except for Jungkook, he is sooooo hot!

-Who? you asked.

-Just a boy working here. He doesn't work a lot, though, so you might not see him too often. At first, he may look cold, but in fact, he is like a bunny!

-Like a bunny? What do you mean?

-You'll see, Lisa answered.

She showed you around the cafe and explained what you'll have to do. It was pretty simple, and you were a quick learner, so it didn't take much time. She gave you your uniform, a cute brownish outfit in which you were sure you would look cute. You gave her your new number, since you got a new phone, and you thanked her. She had been nice and you were proud of finally getting a job. You were not as pathetic as they all thought. Thinking back, you thought:

«I'll show them what I'm capable of! »

You groan, hearing your alarm waking you up. You didn't miss this, but you had to go to work. Lisa texted you that you could begin working right away, and you agreed. You had nothing better to do anyway, and maybe, for the first time of your life, you could make a friend. Lisa looked friendly and you were sure you were going to love her. You just hoped she thought that about you.

You got up, dressed, went to the bathroom and applied makeup. You were already pretty, so you didn't need to put too much on, but you still had low self-esteem.   You thought you looked okay and you didn't care much more. Not a lot of guys were allowed to talk to you back then and nobody never told you you were pretty. You didn't know what it was like outside

You sighed, shook your head, and smiled in the mirror. You needed to let the past in the past. No, not needed. You had to.

Since the coffee was near where you lived, you walked. It was sunny outside and you smiled as the sun hit your face. You missed this, feeling, being free. You opened the door of the coffee and went in. Lisa was already there, preparing what needed to be prepare. She greeted you, and you smiled at her.

-So, since I showed you everything yesterday, I think we can open the cafe right away! she said with enthusiasm.

You agreed, and clients soon started to enter the coffee shop. You were quite good, and the customers were all nice to you. Old and young people were gathering here, talking about everything that happened the week before, gossiping about everything. You thought it was quite funny. You were truly having fun while working. Lisa was helping with that; you learned that she was really funny and fun to talk and work with. Both of you were laughing and you didn't see the time. When Lisa said it was time to close, you said:

-Already?

Lisa laughed while she was closing the door. You cleaned the cafe with her and told her goodbye. She waved at you as you exited the door.

It went like this for a month or so, and nothing bad happened. Yet. Until you saw him.
