As the storm grew stormier, Alyssa and Daphne found themselves unable to sleep out of worry. They both came down to have some cups of tea and saw Xavier with a liqour bottle in his hand.
"Couldn't sleep?" He asked, pouring another gulp of the drink in his hand.

"The cold is unbearable. And I don't think she'll survive this storm." Daphne replied grabbing her cup of tea that Alyssa poured her and blowing on it.

"We'll have to wait and see. Where's David? I've not seen him in all the chaos." Xavier glanced on Daphne's direction.

"Don't look at me. How am I supposed to know? He's a big boy. No one tells him what to do." Xavier sighed, unable to deny the facts Daphne laid down.

"Xavier, you need to relax. I don't think she's dumb enough to go out in the storm. She'll be fine. This commotion is causing us unnecessary stress." Alyssa stated trying to provide Xavier some comfort.

Daphne stared between her parents looking more unconcerned than concerned as she sipped on her tea. She never appreciated Anna's presence in their lives, and now that she was finally gone, she could only hope Anna never came back. Her presence in their lives had bring nothing but drama and frustration, especially with all the attention of the house always being on her. Daphne had grown to hate her so much she wished she never came back.

David stared at Anna, still in shock from the slap she'd managed to mount on him, as anger rose up in him while he watched her cry. "You asked for this Anna. One wasn't enough, uh?" He got on her again, this time more aggressive and violent, jacking his shirt open and he pulled up everything that was on her including her blood stain clothes and took it off, leaving her bare body for him while she cried pleading all falling on deaf ears. He entered her harder, more painful and forceful with no room for gentleness. He drained all the energy he had in both of them as she screamed out all of the pain she felt inside, arousing him more. He went in harder until he reached the height of all his ecstasy, and fell asleep on her, while still inside her her.

As the first rays of the morning shone on them, Anna pushed him off her still shakened and naked from the night. She got into her dirty clothes, if she could call them clothes. As soon as she saw David waking up, she took to her heels, running in what direction her took her.
David, walking up, got dressed, went back to his car, and caught up with her. She turned her back while she paused tired from running, as saw David approaching in his car. The stupid car was working! That lying basted! Anna thought to herself as he caught up to her.

"Stay away from me David!" Anna begged as she kept on moving back while he followed her with the car. He stopped and got down to meet her. She almost took to her heels again and he held her. "Don't touch me!!" She screamed and he immediately let her go as a reaction.

"I know hurt you Anna. I didn't mean to. I didn't want to... The night was long... I'm sorry Anna. Let me help you. I'm your only hope." He begged as all the rush of guilt crept in while staring at her sad face. He couldn't repay all he'd done. But he hoped he could amend it. Though, there was no justification for what drove him. And he lost the little sense he had managed to gain at that point. But he would give anything to recover it, especially Anna's forgiveness.

Anna stared at him, feeling unsure about the emotions inside her. She wanted to hate him. She needed to. But something about the pathetic look on his face made her pity him.
"No." Even though she had fewer options, the mistake she made in the night caused her her virginity. She wasn't settled enough to repeat the mistake. David sighed, she wasn't convinced.

"Anna.." She kept on staring at him with no plan to change her mind. "I just want to.."

"Amend your ''mistake''?" Anna chuckled as tears strolled down face. "Is it that easy?" She paused, uncaring about the emotions that might have been showing on his face as she didn't bother to look at him. "You took everything from me!!" She started, almost yelling as more tears flowed out. "Your family took my parents from me... Your family took my parent's fortune. You took my house, our properties, you took everything they left me. YOU took the only thing I had left. You took everything from me David. What do you want to amend?" She sobbed a little and continued as David remained silent. "Can you give me back my parents?..." David remained speechless, taking in all she said. "And you want me to trust you...after you broke my trust, when I gave you that benefit of doubt to prove you are different from your family."

"Anna please..I know there's nothing I can do to repay all the evil we've caused you, but please. Let me help. I know it sounds foolish.."

"What do you know David?" She stared at him, wiping off the tears on her face.

"I can help. I won't confine you or lock you up. The guards would be looking for you. Imagine what they'll do if they find you. Dad, mum, Daphne, imagine what they'll do to you. Do you think you'll ever have hope of leaving the mansion again? Let me help you." Anna sighed thinking through all David had said. He was right. But she still couldn't trust him. He almost sighed frustratingly, giving up.

"Ok." David took deep breathes mentally thanking the heavens she actually adhered. "This doesn't mean I trust. I'm just desperate. Cos you made me desperate." She got into his car again, this time being extra cautious of how she sat, their proximity, and the way she interacted with the car.

After driving endlessly on the road, for what felt like hours, he finally drove into the city. Making some arrangements on how to hide her well, he bought an apartment in the middle of the city and some new clothes for her.

Taking her to the apartment, she saw that the apartment was actually nice. And the clothes he bought for her were a perfect fit on her slim body. She wasn't so slim before the death of her parents. She was well fed, and had an average moderate body, rich enough to show she lacked nothing in the body. Now, she looked like a shadow of her former self. But the offer he was giving seemed fair enough, for a start. She didn't want much, not at this point. All she wanted was a peaceful life. He'd stocked the house with foodstuffs and other house provisions, something which must have made a huge mark on his credit card. The house was quite comfortable. And she was happy. He waited for her to have an hot bath before going out with her to get the foodstuffs. She was quiet the whole of the journey, trying her best not to cry or get any attention.

That night, before he left her, after fixing up the TV and cable and making a heart warming dinner for her, he gave her one condition.

"Don't ever go out." Anna looked around, glancing though the kitchen she could see from the small window in the living room, to the passage which led to the rooms right behind the kitchen, the garden around the house from the window viewing outside, and concluded in her heart that the house might be small compared to her original house but it was much better. She still couldn't trust him. But the gestures he'd made so far, were that of peace, and not of trouble. So she simply nodded in agreement, not having an initial plan of stepping out of the house with all she had going on. He patted her and tried to hug her before she leaving, a gesture she didn't appreciate as she moved back and he got the message. "I'm sorry." She waited and nodded, wanting him to just leave at that point. After looking around and taking one last look at where he'd placed her, he left, and she took deep breathes dropping unto the couch as tears strolled down her from her eyes, and soon broke into sobs. She heard the door clicking noting that he locked the door and went straight to her room in tears.
