Deku's POV:

As soon as I step through the school doors I am instantly jumped by Uraraka. "Well h-hi to you too Uraraka," I say scared by her sudden appearance.

"Ok so I woke up at 4am just so I could make a list of all the "T.S.'s" in the school..." Uraraka rambled on and on about her research as she shook my shoulders in excitement.

"I-I don't really think it's that big of a deal whether I find them this week or years from now. I've got time." I said with a huge smile on my face.

"Oh alright but-" Uraraka starts but gets cut off as Katsuki Bakugo and his soulmate Eijiro Kirishima walk through the school doors. At the first sight of Bakugo I quickly duck behind Uraraka in hopes that he doesn't notice I'm there.

They're two of the most popular people in the school, and Bakugo has been my childhood tormenter since Kindergarten. His soulmate, however, actually seems very nice and friendly. They are essentially the rulers around here a long with Shoto Todoroki and Momo Yaoyorozu. As of summoned by fate, the second pair of soulmates walk through the doors hand in hand. Momo waves to Kirishima with a smile on her face pulling Todoroki by the arm as she makes her way to the other couple.

'Gosh that turtle neck fits him really well,' I think sighing out loud.

"Hey Deku wipe that drool off your mouth and let's get to class," Uraraka says throwing an arm around my shoulders.

"I-um s-sure," I say blushing hard and walking with her to our lockers.

Once we arrive we are greeted by Tsuyu Asui. Our best, and only other friend for that matter, since middle school. In junior high, we all bonded over our artistic interests that were thought to be weird by the other students in our student body. For instance Uraraka is the choir president, Tsuyu plays the violin, and I'm in the art department at our school. We are thought to be the "weird kids," and honestly I'm okay with that. After all I'm just pursuing my dreams, what's so weird about that?

We grab all the things we need for first hour out of our lockers as the first warning bell rings. Tsuyu and Uraraka wave to me I and head to English class. I set my books down at my usual spot and a voice comes over the loud speakers. "Izuku Midoriya to the principal's office."

I pick up the books I had just set down and nervously walk out of the room. I continue walking and soon I reach the principal's office. When he spots me he ushers me in his office and asks me to have a seat.

"Ah Izuku Midoriya, just the man I wanted to see," the grey haired man said with a smile. "It is my understanding that you are doing exceptionally well in all of your classes. So as a result we will be rearranging your schedule and moving you into AP classes," He said sliding my new schedule towards me.

"O-okay that's a relief, I thought I was in trouble," I say letting out a huge sigh.

"Oh the situation is quite the opposite my boy. Now take a tardy pass with you and head down to your newly assigned classes." The jolly man said.

As I exited his office I felt nervous. I was already comfortable in the classes that I had and I wasn't sure if I was capable of joining the advanced course. Not to mention a certain red and white haired boy was also in AP classes who was certain to distract me. 'I wonder why he has that kinda power over me?' I asked myself, yet found no answer.

By the time I had made it to the correct classroom I was hyperventilating. I was about to enter a room of kids who I didn't know, but I knew didn't like me. Oh well, I guess I just have to be brave and smile in the face of danger just like All Might. With a deep breath and a fake smile plastered on my face I turned to door knob and stepped into the room.

"Hello my name is Izuku Midoriya and it seems that my classes have been reassigned," I said to the teacher with as much confidence as I could muster. I handed the woman my tardy pass and sat down at a desk in the front row. I couldn't help but notice all the disapproving looks everyone was throwing at me; well everybody except for him. Todoroki seems different than the others of "his kind." He isn't ever rude or mean to anyone, and despite his cold exterior I can see that there is truly a kind person inside. As the morning went on all I could think of was him, and before I knew it it was already lunch.

"Midoriya are you alright? You've been acting weird," Tsu said tilting her head to the side a bit.

"Huh? Oh yeah I guess I'm just freaking out about getting placed in AP classes," I say shrugging.

"Deku's a bad liar. He's probably just excited about having P.E. with Todoroki," Uraraka said with a smirk.

"I-um that's not true." I had honestly forgotten that I had to do P.E. with him. Holy heck P.E. is next hour! I'm so clumsy he's gonna watch me fall on my face. Oh no.

The bell rang and I slowly made my way to the locker rooms as all the students filed out of the cafeteria. Once inside I changed as quickly as I could with my head down and my eyes on the floor.

"Deku you fucking nerd!" Bakugo yelled once he saw me. "What the hell are you doing here?!" He said pushing me up against the lockers.

"Oh h-hi Kacchan," I muttered quietly.

"Put him down," a strong cold voice demanded from behind Bakugo.

"Why do you care Todoroki?" Bakugo spat out.

"You don't get to treat people like this. Now put him down or Kirishima finds out about what happened here," Shoto said through gritted teeth.

Reluctantly, Bakugo dropped his arm causing me to fall hard on the floor. "Stupid nerd," he said under his breath as Todoroki practically forced him out of the room.

"What in the name of All Might just happened?" I said to myself.

Before I had time to think, I heard the door swing open followed by footsteps that were getting closer to me. "Hey I'm sorry for what Bakugo did," Todoroki said offering a hand to help me up off the floor.

"I-It's o-okay," I stuttered out while being extra careful to not make eye contact with him.

"Don't let that douchebag get to you. His masculinity is just threatened because you passed him up in class," Shoto said with a small hint of a smile.

"O-okay," I said eyes darting over to the door.

"Yeah we should probably get out of here huh?" He said offering his hand out again.

"O-okay," I said as I took his hand allowing him to lead me out of the locker room and out into the gym.
