A/N: I'm not done with the Huntress story, I just want to make parts for this, too. All of this is theoretical, of course, and it takes place around them joining The Legion.

~Susie's POV!~

Prior to my invitation, I just went around vandalizing and running from the cops. Sure, it was fun, but I wanted more crime. I didn't know then if I was capable of murder, until I tried. My hands still reeked of that poor man's blood, but my pity was outlived by the excitement and adrenaline I experienced. Thinking of it still made my blood crawl with satisfaction.

I stared at the words on my screen in surprise, soaking in the invitation. I'd already tried to trace the number, but I wasn't any good at digital tracking, and the mystery was more enticing. It simply read out an address, and a request to meet whoever this was there, alone.

I threw on my hoodie and got dressed in my usual outfit, minus the skirt because I wanted to create a good impression. I took a bag, just in case, with a hunting knife inside.

As I travelled, I realized the address took me to a house by a bridge. I stood there, watching the crows fly off of the top of the building as I scanned the area. Then, I felt a pebble hit my back, and turned around. A figure I couldn't quite see properly was under the bridge, and beckoned for me to come there.

As I walked down the stairs, I examined their figure. They were presumably male, but there was another individual behind him. A more feminine one. Taller than me, but shorter than the male. As I stared her down and watched her eyes through the mask, the male spoke. "Are you Susie?" He said rather blankly, staring down at me and trying to intimidate me. I can't say it didn't work. "E-Er, yes." I choked out, nervously. He didn't find my struggle amusing, but the woman behind him did.

~Julie's POV!~

I snickered at the girl as she struggled to speak, and she quickly got defensive. "Shut up!" Susie growled, and I felt my breathy chuckle recoil off of my mask. "I can always rescind my invitation." I said monotonously, but with a small playful tone. "S-Still." She grumbled, and I smiled gently at her small lisp, due to the braces on her top teeth. Frank turned to me, and he tapped his mask. "Let's take them off. If we don't trust her, we can kill her." I nodded at his speech, and obliged without denial. I slid off my mask, and so did he, but Susie didn't seem to recognize either of us. She took off her hood as we did, exposing her damaged colored hair. As she examined both of us, she seemed to get embarrassed, and her face flushed a tad. "Awh..." I teased her, and she immediately flushed more. "Shut the fuck up, you--" "'Scuse me?" Frank interrupted her, drawing a knife.

I panicked slightly at how sudden he was. "Wait, wait, let her go. Worst she'll do is scratch my cheek." I said frantically, not wanting her to die quite yet. "Plus, we could test her skill. Got a knife, hon?" I asked her, and she shook her head. "Er, no, no I don't." Susie put her hands up, and I snickered. I walked towards her and grabbed her bag, which she tried to snatch, but I just held above her head. "B-Bitch!" She spat, and I giggled as I dumped its contents.  A pack of gum, a change of clothes, some painkillers, and surely, a hunting knife. I pushed her away and picked it up. "Aw, sweet. Nice knife." Frank added.

~Susie's POV!~

When they took that, I panicked. "Give it back!" I cried out, and my voice cracked. I rushed Julie, and tackled her. The knife flew out of her hand, but before I knew it, she had me on my back beneath her. I squeaked in shock, and tried to struggle underneath her. "Give me my fucking k-knife!" I practically screamed, and she put her hand over my mouth. "Hush." She spat, and locked eyes with me to scare me. I bit her hand, and she yelled out in frustration, but didn't hit me back. "You don't want that, sweetheart." Julie warned me, and I trusted her.

*time-skip*

After some more struggling, I agreed to join their group. They allowed me to mark their contacts, but as I did so, Julie peered over my shoulder silently. "Who's that, with the heart next to her name?" She asked. Her voice was gentler than earlier, as if she were purely curious. "Just an ex." I said softly, my voice a little shaky.

~Julie's POV!~

I checked the timestamp on the message last sent. Only a few days ago, and it was from Susie. All it said was "Fuck off." I assumed that it didn't end well, but figured I'd test a little further. "What happened?" I asked gently, sitting down next to Susie against a pillar holding the bridge up. "Why should I tell you?" Susie quickly got defensive, aggravated. "Hey. We're together now. Friends don't hide stuff." I said softly to her, and held out my pinky. "I won't tell anyone." I promised her, and after some hesitation, she locked her hand with mine.

Susie gave a long sigh, preparing. "She... Lied to me." She said meekly, as if expecting me to scold her. "How?" I prompted, and Susie started tapping her foot nervously, a bit frustrated. "Told me she loved me. Told me he was just a friend, then I found his underwear on her floor four days ago." She explained, and I was pleased with how descriptive she was being. "From what I know of you thus far, you don't deserve that. Nobody does, really." I said comfortingly, nudging my elbow into her side. "Y-Yeah." Susie choked, and she looked ready to cry. This recognition startled me, and pulled at something in my heart. "Hey hey hey, it's okay!" I said softly. Susie went to dry her tears, and I almost grabbed her hand, but I figured that was too much.

The last thing I wanted was to see her cry, but I would love to help her with this.

Why is she different?
