Chapter 11: Ascension of Light

A/N: How’s the latest chapter? Sorry I am not into horror genre but really I do see thief I mean Leon as scary whaha. Did it sound too sweet or too fast? Ha-ha but oh well. Here we go!

             Living is a form in which humanity struggles. They are many kinds of living and it seems this kind separates us under different situation but the truth is: We are struggling and living like others do.

... how will you call something that is very surprising yet you can’t remember anything. Her story sounds too good to be true. But, I do remember I’d done those nasty things. After telling that story here we are in a very awkward situation were in she is crying while burying her face on me. I did not remember her at all, but her story seems right. Arghhh... I am done, I can’t remember her and I can’t do anything about it. even so, in my perspective. She do the right thing. When people are bound when your life is at stake, you will throw everything in order for you to live and that is normal. You just do the right thing. Just what kind of foolish person will not run in that situation. Only foolish person who stopped thinking can do that. Now, what. I’ve killed again and find out that this Stupid Girl is my childhood friend. She bury herself and blame herself to despair but continue to move on. Yet--!

            “Leon, SORRY! Sorry because I am too weak. I am—“ can you please shut up. I cover her mouth and sigh. If that event really happened it’s not your fault, it is understandable.

            “It’s not your fault, you know!” I brushed her hair with my hands and look at her green eyes. It is full of regret. Just what how many years did she suffer for something that cannot be repaired? If I am really that kid, I don’t have time to blame her. You have done your part Stupid Girl maybe it’s time for you now.

            “But—“ she insisted and let a big sigh and start writing

            “Well, even if you say that I can’t remember a thing and you are right my name is Leon Rhyd but to me it doesn’t make sense. So don’t worry about it” I know, saying that I forgot things will make you bleed and let your effort be wasted. But I can’t trap you over something so illogical. Stop it Stupid Girl. Grow up and forget. That’s how human works and it will convenient to you too.

            “haha.. You’re right. I can’t do anything about it. it’s done now and the most important is I am reunited with you again. Leon – I mean thief!” she smiled and wipe her tears. I look at her and then turn my attention to those hooligans lying on the floor. Now, it looks like this is the limit of my peaceful days.  The arrival of this two means two things. It is not coincidence, someone intend to send them and kill me or Stupid Girl. Other thing is, my family found me. Stupid Girl is right, I came from the family of killers. My grandfather is the best hitman and now the commander of the four great families of Mafia in this world. Yet, I haven’t met him or anyone else in this family but I guess this two belongs on them. Meaning Stupid Girl is in danger, well even if I can’t remember her after all. It’s quite rude to let her join in this game. We haven’t finished our novel too, we only have 2 months before the deadline. I wish I can spend more time with her.

            “Thief!” she called and kiss me on the cheeks. Whoa, what are you doing you stupid girl. Sigh, I haven’t done anything so I did not need that kind of reward. Geez, your too surprising. But, to let me know that I have a wonderful friend. I am quite glad, I am living in darkness myself. Convince that I am only alone and that makes me afraid of getting to know people. But hearing your story makes me happy and relieved, because even with this kind of life. I still have something or someone important to me. I hope I can remember those days and that night. Right now, the only thing I can do is to let you be separated from the despair I’d make. You need to become a star, or a sun rather. That glows very bright and doesn’t let darkness corrupt your light. But we have done something too, well its only chapter 1 but its alright, this is fine.
