Chapter 30: Mafia's Best

 

A/N: Whee, at last I managed to write this chapter. Ahrgg... I need to study how to write a mafia story. But this is only a DRAFT. So those critiques, ... please calm down I am an amateur writer and I don't have any experience yet but I am glad that you read this until the end. Comments and Critiques are welcome, for me to improve further. Now, let the battle begin.

            It is not measured by your own power sometimes even how much you nurtured and train yourself, being naturally good in something is what makes us different to others.

            Leon... I thought, I hold my mouth and stop myself from shouting but ... I feel something warm fall through my eyes. Yes... they are tears. Tears of ... joy?  No... tears of despair. I am in hell...

            I tried to find the answer in many questions in my head, also I am shock. I am stunned.

            'So... this is my... result'

            I cried, and watch Leon beat <<Valkyrie>> with his bare hands, I know. I KNOW. This day will come that there is a possibility that we became enemies, but I believe, I believe that we are in the same road. We are in the same path, that after this we will be happy ever after like those in fairy tale I loved when I am a kid.

            'But— this is not a fairy tale. Where you can have a happily ever after ending...  Really, I am such a kid'

            Whispering to myself, I get the gun and point it to Leon. My tears pour as my hands are getting nervous.

            'I cannot shoot! But—'

            "<<Angel>>... Run"

            Someone shouted and my consciousness are being dragged to the reality, and see <<Valkyrie>> covered in blood. In an instant, Leon is quickly dashing towards my direction and will beat me up the same he did to <<Valkyrie>>. He clench his fist and prepare to throw a punch in my direction when—

            *Bang—*

            The sound of bullet crashing the window reverberated in my ears and stop Leon. Outside, there is our sniper <<Seraph> whose in the distance of fifty meters from us.

            '<<Seraph>>!'

            I exclaimed and get a grip of the situation, this is not the time to cry. I hold my gun and point it towards Leon again. I shoot him three times but his reflexes are better than expected, he quickly dashed backwards and use the door as his shield. Then, in the left corner of my eye. <<Valkyrie>> is running then jump and give Leon a full roundhouse kick to the left but Leon quick block it with his own hand and turn <<Valkyrie>> around but before he complete his attack, a lost bullet almost hit him yet he dodged again by hiding in <<Valkyrie>> feet. Resulting, what <<Seraph>> hit is <<Valkyrie>> feet.

            "Tsk... Miss"

            Seraph, shouted in our radio communication. I quickly tend to <<Valkyrie>> but he shave me off and give me a piercing glare. Then he stood up, wipe the blood on his mouth and ready his stance. While on the other hand Leon has not sustained any damage in their combo.
