Book: Basic Instinct
Chapter 2: Someones In Trouble
Word Count: 1870Alec stood outside the Bronze with a smirk planted on his face. Since he was grounded once again he had to go to higher measures to get out of the house. He put a pillow under the blanket and shaped it so it looked like he was sleeping. Then he got ready and sneaked out the window. He always had a plan to get out of the house since he was grounded more time than he wasn't. He never got caught either, that's how good he was.
He had to go to the Bronze tonight anyway. He was the one who invited Buffy so she would be expecting him to be there and he didn't want it to seem like he had ditched her. He could tell she wasn't happy about the moving. He didn't like seeing her upset.
God, she's only been there a day and he already felt the need to protect her. To make sure nothing happened to her. She wouldn't need his help anyway. She was the bad ass slayer. He would keep a close eye on her until he was sure that she could fight properly.
He entered the club and was met by people grinding, loud music and a dark room. He loved the Bronze. It wasn't the best club he had ever been to but it was the best club in Sunnydale. He looked around the room trying to spot the blonde. He spotted her next to a redhead by the bar. He made his way over to them, although he did get distracted a couple times by the girls that had decided to rub up against him.
"It's probably easy for you."
He heard the redhead say. He walked up behind them. "What easy?" He asked. Buffy and the redhead turned around. Buffy gave him a smile while he recognized the redhead to be Willow.
"You came." Buffy said. It was obvious that she was changing the subject but he didn't really care. They were probably talking about girl stuff anyway.
"Well, I knew you were going to be here so how could I resist." He flirted. He was a flirt, he wasn't going to deny it. Buffy blushed and looked down at the counter hiding a smile. "Hey, Willow." Alec greeted the redhead.
Willow looked at him shocked and her face turned red. "Y-you know m-my n-name." She stuttered.
"Yeah, you tutored me that one time." He said, a little offended that Willow would think he wouldn't know her. "I might be a dick but I'm not a complete dick." He chuckled a little which Buffy joined in.
"Anyway, Willow, cease the moment because tomorrow you might be dead." Buffy said.
"That's good advice." Alec said and Willow agreeded, nodding her head rapidly. He felt Buffy nudge him and he looked over at her and saw her nod upwards towards the second deck. He looked up and cringed when he saw his Uncle looking at him with a glare that could kill. Looks like his never been caught record had just plumeted. "Ah, crap." He whispered. Giles didn't tell him he was going to the Bronze.
"We'll be back." Buffy said to Willow.
Willow shook her head. "You don't have to." She said looking down.
