~Previously in Seattle~
"You know Richard... I really miss Lexie." Bailey said as she sat at Richard's table in the cafetaria.
"Hello to you too Miranda" Webber didn't bother looking up as he was reading the newspaper. "It's been a while, why now?"
"No, I mean I've always missed her but knowing she's alive... It hurts in a different way and I can't take it anymore."
"How do you think Meredith feels then? Anyway it's not like we can do something about it." Richard was now looking at Miranda, you could see the sadness in his eyes.
"Well I might have an idea..."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"NO! Are you out of your damn mind? She told us that we couldn't keep contact for a reason." Meredith yelled at both Richard and Miranda for suggesting such an idea. "What she does now is clearly top secret or whatever. Hell, what if it's about all that alien stuff happening in national city right now."
"Meredith, you and I both know that we can't keep going like this." Richard and Meredith looked at each other until the tension went away from Meredith's shoulders as she gave up.
"How are we even gonna find her?"
Miranda stepped in between the both of them with a proud smirk. "I may have an idea about that."
"Which is?" Meredith's right eyebrow rose, giving her a questioning look.
"Well at first I thought of looking her up online. When she first came in we registered her under her new name, obviously nothing came up. But let's not forget she wasn't the only one in the accident." Miranda was almost jumping proud of herself.
"Of course! Her girlfriend Sam!" Meredith started getting where this was going.
"Yeah! And lucky for us she's the famous CFO of L-Corp in National City. So we may not know how to find Alex but we know where her girlfriend works!" Miranda had both of her arms pointing towards the ceiling, grinning like crazy.
"You guys are borderline stalkers."
Everyone turned around to see that Wilson had entered the room. "Heck yeah, I'm in!""I don't think too many people should get involved Jo, I'm sorry" Meredith knew that Wilson and Lexie had become very good friends but didn't want a crowd to show up at Lexie's.
"Well if she's not coming I'm not coming either..... Wherever you guys are going." It was Karev's turn to enter the room.
"See guys! I have to come! You can't go see Lexie without Alex." Jo really wanted to see lexie and grinded her teeth waiting for a reaction out of Meredith.
"Wait, you guys found Lexie?" Karev caught up with the others.
"Well it wasn't that hard actually. If she's some kind of secret agent or whatever I would be ashamed." Miranda felt like a spy, happy to be the one who found Lexie. "Everyone start packing. We're going to National City!"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Wait! Don't leave without me!" Everyone was startled by Arizona's voice as they were entering the taxis.
"Arizona? Who told yo-?" Miranda turned toward Wilson and Karev and Both of them looked guilty.
"You guys, I can't believe you almost left without me. Thank God Jo and Alex are there." Arizona said as she started loading one of the taxis with her luggage.
"well I guess it's time then. Sir can you drive us to the airport please." Meredith didn't even bother, Arizona is a force of nature that can't be stopped and a really good friend of Lexie and hers. She saw no reason not to let her come. After all, they were already a large group anyway.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Who's been to National City before?" Richard asked as they left the airport. After all, they barely knew anything about the city.
"I don't think any of us traveled a lot. All I know is that the city is famous for its superhero Supergirl but that's just a scam." Miranda scoffed at the idea of a flying alien saving lives.
"You sure about that?" Jo said in shock as a blue and red streak flew at high speed over them.
"wait so she's real?? How come we don't have someone like her in Seattle?" Richard complained.
"Let's go to the hotel guys, we should probably rest a bit before we head to L-Corp." Meredith was focused and couldn't wait till she got to see her sister again.
"Speaking about that. What are we even gonna say to Lexie when we find her?" Arizona said.
Miranda spoke up. "Well, the truth. We couldn't bare not to know how she was or where she was. We came to see her again and check that everything was okay so we could leave with our minds at peace."
"Seems like a plan. Let's go!" Alex said with enthusiasm.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"So, who takes which taxi. There's two." Arizona asked.
"Richard, Miranda and Jo, take the first one. Meredith, Arizona and I will follow you." Alex said as he entered the second taxi.
Everyone got in and soon enough the taxis left for their destination. The ride wasn't that long and everyone made small talk until something appeared in the middle of the road scaring all of them.
The first taxi hit the breaks which caused the second taxi to crash into the first one. They looked around them and all they could see was panic. People running around and debris falling from the building next to them. Everyone thought the same thing. "Where the hell did we end up."
The taxi's doors were locked and all of them were now stuck inside in the middle of what looked like a war zone. Luckily for them supergirl arrived and they got to get a closer look at her.
She fought the alien easily and headed toward them. They couldn't get out and saw 2 other figures getting closer to the taxis. They barely had time to blink when supergirl opened the door of the first taxi, letting them see more clearly outside.
"What the fuck?" said the first figure.
"What the fuck?" said the second one which turned out to be Lexie.
Richard, Miranda and Jo looked at each other as confused as them and then looked back their way.
"What the fuck??"
And here is chapter two for you guys! As always, constructive criticism is gladly accepted and don't hesitate to comment!
