Assamua'laikum my fellow readers
To be honest, I am very scared to write this story and share it with so many of you. As a muslimah myself, I feel that not many of us have had the same experiences I went through. This story is based on a true experience - some even from my experience as a muslimah - and I beg of you to doa for the best instead of judging. In truth, I feel very uncomfortable writing this story seeing that I will probably reveal many choices that I had made that I am deeply ashamed for but I thought it was best that I let out my thoughts instead of bottling it all up.
Do share if you had gone through or is going through similar experiences. Not only will it help you express yourself, it will also help me in knowing I am not alone. I also believe that shared experiences can make bonds and friendships so don't be afraid to talk to me.
Last but not least, this story goes through issues that may be against your moral standings. I encourage you to stop reading if you are not open to idealistic and modern ideas. I also would caution you that this story will go through issues that may not be in your comfort zone as a Muslim.
Above it all, I just want to share with my fellow Muslims that people like me do exist. And if you are going through the same things, just know that you are not alone.
May Allah bless you all, InshaAllah.
Assalamu'alaikum, Aseel
