Aria's point of view

I woke up at exactly 7 am, I had set my alarm.

Because today is a special day today DUH

Today is Valentines day, my favorite holiday, ever.

I don't have a boyfriend but I still love Valentines day. its a day where you get to spread love, and show the people you love how much you care about them.

I walked down the stairs, and daddy was already awake, of course.

There were 4 vases on the counter, all with boxes of chocolate propped up on them, roses and sunflowers for mom, light blue and white roses for me, pink tulips for Val, and one single purple rose for Carlie bear, she has a mini box of chocolates too.

Of course daddy also gets boxes of chocolates for the boys.

And he's cooking breakfast.

"Good morning daddy! happy Valentines day!"

"Good morning Peanut. Happy Valentines day." He turned, smiling at me.

I handed him a card.

"What's this for?"

"For you silly"

He ripped it open, and opened the card, reading the note.

"This is super sweet baby girl thank you."

"Of course." I kissed his cheek, and the moved to the counter, sitting down on the stool.

At about 8, when dad was finishing up breakfast the rest of the kids slowly started coming down.

"Good morning Val," she smelled her flowers, before going and giving dad a hug, and then to me, I handed her a car, "Good morning Ari," she handed me a card back.

We both giggled as we read the cheesy silly notes we had given each other.

Mom and Carlie were the last ones to come down.

"Good morning Carlie!" dad grabbed the camera, and Quinn grabbed Claire, showing her all the gifts we had propped up for her, she squealed.

Mom and dad had their moment, and then he turned the camera to us.

"It is Carlies second Valentines day, but the first one she can remember, which, in my opinion, is the first one that counts" dad pointed the camera at her. mom picked her up, and she opened the traditional gift we all get on our first Valentines day.

See dad thinks that the big stuffed animals, or any at all, are cheesy, and he doesn't want them all over the house.

SO our first Valentines day he gets us one, and then never again. I think its very cute, I still have mine.

When she opened it she squealed loudly, standing up on the counter, she turned around to show mom.

"OOK MAMA!" she held the elephant (she's obsessed with elephants) with a big red bow, and a red heart on it, out, and then she hugged it tightly.

We all laughed and mom grabbed her, "what do you say to daddy?"

"TANK YOU!" she turned around and launched herself at dad.

Like I said, I love Valentines day.

After we all ate breakfast, dad got all our attention.

"Today, we are going to go to the mall, everyone gets to pick ONE thing, anything for me and mom to buy you, and then after, mom wants to go to the park, and we can do a picnic, ordering food from the little deli downtown LA, then were gonna go see a movie, that we ALL agree on, and then come home and chill for awhile, and then you're sisters, have planned a nice dinner that Val and Ari are going to cook."

"And no complaining." Mom pointed.

So we all got ready for the day, and went to the mall in downtown LA, I went with mom, and I found a pair of shoes I've been wanting, and Quinn got a new football jersey for the Bears, and Val got some nice designer purse, and Wyatt got a few books, because, well you know.

The little ones just picked out toys.

After, we picked up lunch, and went to Griffith Park.

Mom passed out all the food.

When we finished, dad took Carlie and Caleb to the actual park, with the slides and swings, and Quinn and Wyatt were throwing a football back and fourth.

Me and Val stayed with mom.

"How's your day girls?"

"Good mom, I'm enjoying it a lot." Val leaned back, looking up to the sky.

"Good, im excited for you guys to cook tonight."

"Me too!" I sat up, "I love cooking."

"Well you are a good cook, so that's good. Your dad couldn't cook to save his life." she smiled.

"What was that babe?"

She turned towards dad.

"Oh I was just telling Ari about how you can't cook at all."

"That's rude ya know?" he stepped closer.

"What are you planning?"

"What are you talking about?"

"David." she used her mom voice, but then dad pounced, knocking her over, and tickling her.

I picked up the camera and filmed them, laughing along with Val.

We went and saw Onward, which I, along with all the older kids, weren't too excited about, but it was actually a really cute movie. Mom promised we could go see I Still Believe another day.

When we got home, we cleaned up, and then Val and I started to cook, she turned on J. Cole and threw her hair up.

I set the camera up, and put my own hair up.

Tonight we are cooking Chicken mozzarella pasta, with garlic bread, and salad. All home made.

it took us about 2 hours to make everything, and by that time, Quinn was in the kitchen poking around, trying to get a bite.

I smacked him with a towel, "Get out, go set the table or something!"

"Straight up now tell me do you really wanna love me forever!" Val yelled, singing into a wooden spoon, "Or is it just a hit and run?" I sang back and we both doubled over laughing at our crappy singing, but then Quinn topped us with crap singing, coming in, his head back screaming, "Straight up now tell me!"

Finally we all got to sit down, and eat, and I enjoyed the praise on me and Vals meal, and I high fived her.

"All I can say is at least dad didn't cook."

We all laughed at mom.

And that, is why I love Valentines day.

Im not 100% pleased with this but I swear ive started and not finished this a million times. So its not my best but.... not everything can be.
