Chapter 14

Kageyama's POV

"No volleyball for one week! Are you serious!" I exclaimed to the sky. 

"Now now Kageyama. It's only for a week." Suga-san laughed. 

"But-"

"I know it's your love Kageyama but even you need to rest for a while," Hinata said grinning. 

"Although I might miss your tosses for a while Because Suga-san can't do your awesome quick tosses." 

"Shut up Hinata. But God why!" I groaned. I awkwardly walked towards Hinata's house. 

"Welcome bac- What happened Tobio-Kun?" Hinata's mum explained when she saw me. 

"I just badly sprained my ankle. I just can't play volleyball for a week. I'll be fine." I groaned. 

"That's terrible. Do you want some hot chocolate to soothe you?" She asked. 

"Yes please," I replied. 

"I want some too mum!" Hinata said butting in.

"Of course Shouyo. Now come in while I put the milk on." Hinata's mum said beckoning us in. We quietly entered the house and sat by the TV. We surfed some channels while waiting for the drink but we decided to watch some old clips of volleyball matches instead. 

"Woah! That was such a good receive! It looked like Noya-san!" 

"That was a really good toss. It would be cool to try out later on." 

"Here you go, boys. Hot chocolate." 

"Thanks, mum!" We watched the videos while making comments on how cool they looked while making those moves.

"Hi there. You must be Kageyama Tobio correct?" A voice behind us said. We turned around. 

"Dad! Welcome back!" Hinata exclaimed standing up to hug the man. 

"Good to see you to Shouyo. You are Tobio-kun, right? You look a lot like your father." The man said. 

"You know my father?!" I asked him in surprise. 

"Yes. We used to be the best of buds. He moved away suddenly though 4 years after he had you. I haven't seen him since. Where is he? Do you know?" He asked me. 

"He's working abroad," I replied. The man did look a lot like Hinata. Fluffy orange hair that went everywhere, they had the same eyes. He should be around the same height as me. I thought. 

"Sir. May I ask your name?" I asked. 

"It's Hinata Haruichi "(A/N I have no idea what his real name is so I just typed the first thing that came to mind. It's also haikyuu's author's first name)

"Haruichi-san!? Oh, I remember you... a bit!" I exclaimed. 

"You know my dad Kageyama?" Hinata asked. 

"A little. He took care of me before." I said. "It's been so long sir!" 

"It has Tobio. You grew so much. You're nearly as tall as me." Haruichi-san laughed. 

"Then how come I haven't met you before Kageyama?" Hinata asked. 

"No idea." I said.
