Chapter 16

Kageyama's POV

I followed Haruichi-san out of Hinata's room and into the living room. Hinata's mum was already there. 

"So, What did you want to talk about sir?" I asked. 

"I saw a mark on Shouyo's neck..." He started. I flinched. 

"Was it you?" He asked. I slowly nodded. He sighed. 

"Take care our son, Alright." Hinata's mum said. 

"Wha-" 

"We have a job in a different country. But we could only afford three people. There's no way Natsu can be by herself for three years. So Hinata has to stay. Can you take care of him?" Haruichi-san said. 

"Both of you?" I asked. 

"Yes. We'll send you some money now and then so, please. Take care of Hinata while we're gone." Hinata's mum said. 

"When are you leaving. Have you told Hinata about this?" I asked. 

"We leave tomorrow, and no we haven't. We thought it'll be better to say it to you first." Haruichi-san said. 

"Can't it wait?! Are you really going to just leave your son?!" I exclaimed. 

"I'm sorry. It's very urgent. And, I know he'll be in good hands." Haruichi-san said hugging me. I hugged him back, 

"Alright. Thank you for telling me, Should I tell Hina- Shouyo?" I asked. 

"We'll tell him. Don't worry." Shouyo's mum said. I nodded. 

"I'll go now," I said and left the room. Followed by a bit of sobbing behind me. They had a hard decision to make. I entered the room. 

"Ah! Kageyama! What did you two talk about!" Shouyo asked cheerfully. 

"It's nothing Shouyo," I answered. 

"Wha- Why did you use my given name?" Shouyo said in surprise. 

"I just wanted to. We should sleep." I said getting out a futon. 

"O-Okay. If you say so Kageya-" 

"Can you call me by my given name?" I asked.

"Huh? Why?" Shouyo exclaimed. 

"I will call you by your given name from now on. So, can you call me Tobio as well?" I asked again turning around to face him. I nearly gaped at what I saw. Shouyo's face was red, all over. He was blushing too muc- He fell back onto his bed and he broke. I walked up to him. He was unconscious. His face is still red. If I brush his hair back from his ears they had a red tinge to the too. 

"Oops?" I chuckled. I grabbed his blanket and roughly put them over him. 

"Night Shouyo. Don't get sad tomorrow. Please."
