Chapter 21

Kageyama's POV

"Just as I thought. As expected of national goers." People whispered. I sighed. Please shut up. It's hard to f*cking concentrate!

"Kageyama! Toss to me!! I wanna spike!!" Hinata exclaimed waving to me. 

"Yea, Yea. Coming!" I yelled back. 

"Sucks that Yachi-san isn't here," Hinata said. 

"Why?" 

"Because She could have tossed a ball to you!" Hinata replied. 

"Yea, yea. Whatever. Come on dumbass." I sighed. He threw me the ball. I got ready to toss the ball in Hinata's direction. BA-BAM!

"Woah! What! That was so fast! That must be the rumored superfast quick! Wait, That means that's Karasuno's 9 and 10 right?! Karasuno's 10 is actually smaller than I thought. Lol"

Why did a whisper complimenting Hinata go to them talking about his height? I thought. 

"Nice kill Hinata," I said.   

"Thanks, Kageyama," Hinata replied grinning. 

"Na Kageyama. Can we practice the synchronize attack?" Cap'n asked coming up to me. 

"Oh, uh, sure," I replied. 

"Great. Guys! Get ready for a practice round for the synchronized attack!" Cap'n yelled out. 

"Synchronized attack? I wonder what that is?"

I got ready hands held high right in front of my face. Cap'n tossed up the ball to me. 

Synchronized attack. ALL! They all ran up to the net, sure that the toss was going up for him,

I focused and tossed the ball. BAM! Asahi-san spiked,

"Nice kill! Long-haired... guy!" One of the people watching us yelled. 

"Y-yea. Thanks." Asahi-san said. 

"ASAHI-SAN! You need more guts! Stand tall!!" Nishinoya-san exclaimed

"I'm trying Noya," Asahi-san replied. 

"If you don't man up, I'm going to take your position as ace!" Tanaka-san taunted. 

"You are going to be next year anyway." Asahi-san sighed.

"Negativity... BEGONE!!" Suga-san exclaimed punching Asahi-sans stomach. 

"OWW! Suga! Are you trying to kill me?!" Asahi-san asked rubbing his side. 

"I'm just trying to put some gut in you. You have a large body yet your soul is baby!" Suga-san grumbled. 

"You say that a lot." Asahi-san pouted. We practiced until the end of the day. Earning compliments and murmurs. We were even asked a few questions. It was mostly about Hinata and his height though. 

"Ah, Hinata, We need to leave now. Sis should be here about now." I said checking my watch. 

"Kay! Coming!" Hinata replied. 

"Bye guys! See you tomorrow!" Cap'n said. We bowed waved goodbye and left.
