Rapunzel POV

I lay on my bed, looking up at the ceiling. I'm ecstatic about this whole high school experience, but we start classes tomorrow and with my very own mother following my every move I'm a lot less excited. I pull a wrinkled paper out of my back pocket. My mom gave me a list of rules. Just looking at the list makes me sick. My mom is insanely invasive and controlling. I don't mean overprotective, its a different type of feeling. I've been awaiting this moment for almost my whole life and coming to Disney High was supposed to feel like an escape but for some odd reason its not everything I've hoped. I'm starting to like my dorm mates though so I'd say that's a win.

"Are you guys excited for classes tomorrow?" Anna asked as she sprung up from her bed. "No way" Elsa said. "Guys, make sure to watch out for my mom" I say jokingly. "Really? She seems so nice" Lady responds. "She is not" I tell her. I pull out the list my mom gave me and handed it to her. Anna sprung on Lady's bed. "What's this?" Lady asked. "My mom gave me a list of rules" I said. "Well, I bet she just wants you to be safe," Lady tells me. "I guess" I say. "So guys" Anna says, changing the subject. "I saw this guy..." Elsa interrupts her before she can finish. "Anna stop," she says cooley. "What why?" She asks. "Anna, you can't just go head over heels for every guy you see" Elsa said. "I can if its true love!" Anna argued back. Elsa scoffed. "Anna, what do you know about true love?" She said. "Well clearly I know more than you!" Anna responded. "Oh well, okay than" Elsa said sarcastically. I bent my head down to keep from laughing. "You guys should stop arguing, your so lucky to have a sibling I would do anything for one!" I say interrupting the argument. "Yeah, I have a little brother but, he can't even talk yet, it would be amazing to have a sister so close in age!" Lady agrees. "I mean Elsa doesn't even talk to me so I may as well be an only child" Anna says. "Look Anna, not everything concerns you!" Elsa said, I could tell she was growing defensive. "Well it does if your nagging me about my feelings" Anna countered. 'And you know what Elsa" Anna pulled her phone out "I just accepted that guy's invitation to go on a date." Anna dropped her phone and Elsa stormed out of the room with anger in her every move. The room feel to an ill-fated silence. "Gosh I can't believe her" Anna tells us. "I mean she did make a valid point Anna" Lady said quietly. "Uh exuse me?" Anna said. "I just mean that how can be madly in love with someone that you met not even hours prior?" she asked. "Its just a feeling" Anna responded. I was silent, clueless on what to say. "Anna, aren't you being a bit reckless though?" Lady said to Anna. "No I'm not, clearly I'm the only one who understands love" Anna snapped at Lady. "Excuse me?" Lady asked. "I bet you couldn't get in a relationship even if you tried!" Anna told her. "Oh sure" Lady said sarcastically. "Now I see why Elsa was shutting you out" Lady replied. "Yeah and now I see why your aunt hates you so much" Anna laughed. Lady rolled her eyes. "Whatever I'm going to get a snack." Lady told us. "You do that" Anna finished. Wow that was crazy. These girls are going to wipe me out sooner than I thought. Usually I'm the first to talk but, in this situation all I could do was listen.
