The next day has arrived as the sun shines brightly on Ash's face. He was outside all this 4 hours and 50 minutes, guarding the girls.
He then opened the door and wake the girls up.
Ash - Hey you girls. Wake up. He said as he shook their bodies gently.
Leaf - Hmmmm? *yawns* Is it morning already?
Ash - Yeah. It's exactly 7:00 a.m. Misty.
Misty - *yawns* Ash. Where have you been?
Ash - I've been guarding the two of you all this time outside.
Misty - How can you be stay wide awake all day, all night?
Ash - I don't know. Maybe I was born with it. Anyway, get ready because we will start our journey to the Indigo League.
The girls then fix themselves. Afterwards, they went outside of the storage room of the Pokémon Center.
Misty - Now that we are ready, where do we go next?
Ash - Viridian City. Me and Leaf will challenge the gym leader of that city to earn our first badge.
He then get his pokédex and upgraded it using his powers. While upgrading, the pokédex glowed in bright green color.
Ash - Now that's done, I will use its GPS to locate where is the Gym.
Ash pushed the GPS button on his pokédex and it revealed a hologram map that shows the whole Viridian city.
Pokédex - Viridian gym, searching........ It said in a male robotic voice.
After 10 seconds of searching, the pokédex located the gym.
Pokédex - Viridian gym located.
Ash - Tell me where is the direction.
Pokédex - Northwest, 478 meters away from your spot.
Ash - Thanks. He then pushed the GPS button once again and the hologram map disappeared.
The girls were astonished on what Ash just did.
Leaf - Ash is so amazing~~.
Misty - Even I was mesmerized. To think he can create a hologram map in just a matter of seconds. That is truly amazing.
Ash - Thanks girls.
Somewhere on the bushes
We locate Mew and Latias, hiding while their invisibility is active.
Mew - Oooooh! I'm so excited to be with Master! Hey Latias! Let's just show ourselves already to him.
Latias - Not now, Mew. There are still unknown humans. Like the two girls over there. She said as they peek on them.
Mew - Whatever. I'll just show myself to him. I'm really excited to have a battle with him and to be with him, forever.
Latias - Wait. Mew!
Latias was too late as Mew suddenly fly upwards and she saw Ash and the girls, walking on northwest direction.
She then unveil her invisibility and Ash suddenly felt her.
With Ash and the girls.
Ash - Wait a minute. Something is off here.
Misty - What do you mean Ash?
Leaf - Is there something wrong? You know we will help you to the best we can. Right Misty?
Misty - Uhhhhh....... Yeah. Yeah. We will help you.
