2 days later

I pulled on a polo-neck jumper, hiding the hand shaped bruises on my neck. They were just starting to heal. I was so confused. Like, how did I even get them? I think I'd know if someone tried to strangle me. No one did though.

I pulled on some black jeans. Mom bought me a few new clothes yesterday because I told her most of my old clothes didn't fit me. I've gone from a size 2 to a size 6 in a two weeks. It's crazy. It's not like I've eaten much food either.  I'm never hungry anymore.

We were going to Park Chaeyoung's funeral today. It was pouring rain outside and it was just a dark day.

We drove to the church. When we arrived there, we met the Park family. We gave our greatest condolences towards them.

Jimin was sitting there, his face blank. No emotions on it at all. He was probably suffering on the inside. I pittied him. His younger cousin, murdered.

Jin and I sat in the row behind him. Jimin turned around and gave us a small smile.

"Thanks for coming guys." he said softly and quietly.

"No problem. If yoy ever need anyone to talk to, we're here for you," said Jin.

I nodded with him, looking at Jimin. Jimin looked tired. He probably didn't sleep much last night.

Talking about sleep, I haven't been able to sleep at night very well. I often woke up in random places in the house during the night. Last night, I woke up trying to unlock the front door of my house. This was scary.

I was busy thinking about sleep that I didn't realize that I was staring at Jimin. He started gently waving his hand in front of my face. I focused again.

"I'm sorry.  Did you say something?"

"Yeah, I was wondering if you have slept at all the past week. You look dead."

I shook my head and yawned (this made me yawn irl).

"You look dead too."

"Well, my cousin was murdered. But yeah, I haven't been sleeping."

Well, I guess no one sleeps anymore.

At the burial, I followed Jin and my parents as they had umbrellas.

My rain splashed on my clothes and my feet plopped in the puddles on the ground, splattering the dirty water onto Jin's black trousers. He didn't notice though. Lucky for me.

I watched as Park Chaeyoung's coffin was laid to rest. The atmosphere was rightfully gloomy and depressing.

I looked around, looking sadly over at Jimin's Aunt and Uncle, who were in tears, holding onto each other.

They had no umbrella above them, letting the rain soak their skin and clothes. They must have felt numb, physically and mentally.

A figure retreating behind a small shed caught my eye.

Jimin.

I hoped he was alright.

Worried about him, I followed him.

Something was telling me to not follow him, but my emotions over ran that feeling and I followed him anyway.

Hiding behind the side of the shed, I took a peak around the corner.

I watched as Jimin walked over to five other boys. I didn't recognize any of them.

Jimin sat down beside them, with a smirk on his face.

I was a bit confused. He didn't seem to care that he was supposed to be morning the loss of a close cousin of his. He seemed different.

They began talking. I tried my best to listen into what they were saying.

"Want to go back out tonight? I have a date, but you guys can join in later, to have some fun with us," a guy with dark doe like eyes said, winking when he said "fun".

I didn't really like the guys. They seemed strange.

Deciding I should head back, I turned around sharply.

Somehow, I already knew that Jimin saw me.

Two steps away.

Eight steps away.

"Lae!? What are you doing?" yelled Jimin.

Fuck. I froze and slowly turned around, to find Jimin and the other watching me.

"Ehm....I was worried about you so I came to see if you were all right. But I guess you're fine, so I'm going to leave." I smiled innocently at him.

"Not so fast babe." a curly dark hair boy called out. He had a deep voice.

I froze again at the word "babe". Cringing, I turned around.

"So you're Jimin's friend that he's been talking a lot about? At least what he said is true. You're hot." the guy smiled, licking his lips a bit.

"Eww. No bitch."

My face curled in disgust, my face turning a bit pink, while Jimin flushed red and punched the boy. The others laughed.

I quickly took this as a chance to run away and back to Jin.

Jimin POV

I can't belive she followed me. Like for fucks sake, these guys don't have any control. They'd hurt her easily.

I'm glad she had some sense to run away. Now hopefully she'd stay away. I hope it wasn't too late, that the guys wouldn't try anything with her.

Pity she was human.
