22.Chapter

Rosé quickly walked back to Jisoo with the cold coffees in her hand.

„Jisoo we are leavening now!" Chaeyoung said and placed the coffee in front of Jisoo. „And NO is not an answer!"

„Have you already called Mark?" Chae asked as she literally pushed Jisoo out of the building.

„Yes I have called him a couple of minutes before you came back. Because I wanted to actually leave now." Jisoo stated. Finally they arrived in front of the school.

„Wait here for Mark. I have to go stay safe!" Chaeyoung said in hurry and placed a kiss on Jisoos cheek and quickly walked away.

Why is she in such a hurry? Sometimes Jisoo really can't understand her best friend. While Jisoo was waiting she lost herself staring inside the coffee cup. After a while she looked up and she saw two figures standing on the other side of the campus.

„Aren't that Jennie and Taehyung?" Jisoo thought out loud as her eyes adjusted for the distance.

„But what are these two doing here?" Jisoo thought. Jisoo was faced by Taehyungs back but she could see Jennie face from the distance. It seemed like he was scolding her. She noticed a quick flash of sadness on Jennies face as Taehyung raised his voice. But it disappeared very quickly. Jisoo continued to watch the argument between the two. It more seemed one sided mainly V talking to Jennie. Jennie was dazed she just blankly stared at Taehyung. Jisoo really wanted to walk over to them and ask what's wrong but stopped when she noticed Jennie glancing over Vs shoulder directly at her. It was a blank bored stare like before.

„Mrs Kim! I'm over here!" Jisoo was teared away by Marks voice. Jisoo saw Mark standing next to the car while he was waving.

„Yeah I'm coming." Jisoo said took another glance in Jennies direction but the girl adverted her eyes back to Taehyung who was still scolding her. The purple haired got inside of the car and looked out again. To Jisoos surprise Jennie seemed to be shouting from anger and hurt at V. That's what Jisoo could point out from the distance. Now Jennie spun around and crossed her arms a few seconds later she walked away leaving Taehyung alone behind.

„What happened?" Jisoo thought out loud inside of the limousine.

„Lisa-ya!" Chaeyoung shouted as she ran over the empty campus. She really couldn't believe it she left Jisoo alone just to find Lisa?

„Lisa where are you?" Chaeyoung shouted again. She really has to find Lisa but were is the younger one? After minutes of running Chaeyoung finally spotted the girl.

And there she was! The orange haired girl slowly walked with her head down.

„Lisa! Wait!" Chaeyoung said as she ran towards the girl. Lisa finally halted in her walk but she didn't face the blonde.

„Lisa what was that before? Why were you trying to break into a fucking art room?" Chae questioned the younger one. It took Lisa a few seconds before she reacted to the question. Slowly she rose her head and looked at Chaeyoung.

The view surprised Rosé.

„Rosie you know I'm not bad don't you?" Lisa nervously asked as she played with her fingers.

Confused Chaeyoung answered: „But what kind of action was that before then? It didn't seem quite brave." Chaeyoung stated.

„No!" Lisa quietly said. Rosé sceptically watched Lisa.

„No!" Lisa cried out and embraced Chaeyoung in her arms. Chae giggled at Lisa's mood change.

„I'm not a bad guy!" Lisa said again causing Chaeyoung to giggle.

Chaeyoung exhaled.

„We haven't know each other for a long time but one thing I can point out is that you definitely don't have any bad intentions." Chaeyoung said as she rested inside of Lisa's embrace.

Slowly Lisa released her arms from Chaeyoung and looked directly at the girl.
„What do you think! Am I allowed to bring you home?" Lisa nervously asked.

„Hihi Am I not the one who is supposed to ask you to bring you home because you were so depressed when I found you?" Chaeyoung laughed as she looked at Lisa.

„I'm completely healed because you forgave me for my wrong doing. Seeing you being disappointed with me was the only reason I was sad. Lisas statement was followed by a short silence but the smile on Chaeyoungs face never left her.

After a while Chae came back to Lisa's offer.

„I think a nice ride home by Lalisa Manoban wouldn't be quite bad so how could I turn down this offer? Chaeyoung said and cheerfully smiled. Lisa's heart grew warmer at that view

„So is the offer still available?" Chaeyoung teasingly asked.

„Yes at the moment but I'd hurry because maybe I'll change my mind." Lisa said and grabbed Chaes hand and ran to her car. Lisa was surprised by her own sudden boldness. She just enjoyed the view of a happily laughing Chaeyoung running behind her hand in hand with her.

The two girls got inside the car and they drove in silence.

„So..." Lisa began.

„You know Jennie is my best friend we have know each other for age. It seems like she's really bad to me but she doesn't mean it." Lisa said.

„So about my action from before I was stupid I regret I know it's not like it's an actual crime but I'm sick of that whole bad girl shit." Lisa explained and tapped with her fingers on the steering wheel. Chaeyoung didn't say anything she stayed mute she only wanted to know what Lisa is thinking about. After a while driving in silence she spoke again.

„I know I probably won't be able to change your mind but Jennie isn't a bad person."

„Jap you're totally right. You won't be able to change that." Chaeyoung shortly replied and nodded.

The rest of the ride the drove in akward silence. Finally they arrived and the ride ended. It felt like the drove for hours. Lisa parked in front of Chaes house. Now Chaeyoung had to face a cringe situation. How should she say goodbye? Are they friends? A hug or just a short goodbye? The blonde haired decided for a quick thank you and bye. She unbuckled her seat belt and reached for the car door.

„Chaeyoung please wait!" she heard Lisa say.

The blonde turned around and faced the other girl but before she could even react she was pulled into a hug.

Chaeyoung smiled and hugged back.

„See you tomorrow Chae." Lisa said and patted the girls back.

„Good Night Lisa." Chaeyoung said and they both separated.

„Ah before I forget it!" Lisa said as she pulled out a folded piece of paper and handed it the older girl.

Chaeyoung opened it and her lips tugged up in a smile as she read the digits on the small sheet.

„Wow Lisa that's so cliche. I feel like I'm back in middle school." Rosé said.

Lisa didn't say anything just mouthed „Give me a call" and stretched out her pinky and thumb to symbolize a phone with her hand.

„I really have to go now but I'll definitely call you." Chaeyoung said and left Lisa's car.

„Sleep well!" is the last thing Chaeyoung head from Lisa as she closed the door.

„What is wrong with her mood changes like every five minutes." Chaeyoung laughed as she walked to her house.

„Lisa you dumby! I'll definitely give you a call." Chaeyoung smiled and reopened the folded paper where Lisa's phone number was written on.
