Chapter 1

The attack of the Nine Tailed Fox

It was in the middle of the night and a huge Fox that was orange colored was attacking a Village. The Village was called The Village Hidden in the Leaf.

A bunch of people were being brought to a safe spot. These weren't people that had any sp power. There were people who had what was called Chakra. It's a source of power for Ninja's.

Ninja's were rushing people to safe spots and others were help fighting the Fox. There was a man with yellow hair and bright blue eyes. He was called Minato Namikaze the fourth Holage. He was holding a bundle in his arms. He sadly looked down at it and said softly, "I'm sorry my little Kairi. I know you can make friends with the Fox and you can use his power to help keep the Village safe."

With this he ran over to a spot that was set up for sealing. He saw his wife that was holding the Fox with her Chakra chains. She was called Kushina Uzumaki. She used to be the one that kept the Fox sealed away in her body.

"I'm ready Kushina. Hang on a little longer." Called Minato.

Kushina nodded. She didn't want to place this on her daughter but she was the only one strong enough to hold off the Fox.

Minato made a bunch of hand signs and stopped on the rat. He then called, "Seal." The Fox was stated to be pulled inside Kairi now. The Fox still in a trance brought it's huge claws down to kill Kairi but both Minato and Kushina stood in front of their daughter, saving her.

"Are  . . . you  . . . all right?" Minato managed to get out.

"Yeah. I'm  . . . Fine." Said Kushina. It was clare to anyone else that they weren't. "Kairi I'm s-so sorry. I never . . . wanted this to be put on . . . you. The berdon of a  . . . Jinchuriki. I hope you will have lots of friends  . . . I want you to take care of y-yourself. Eat healthy and n-not just  . . . raman." Said Kushina.

"Kairi I'm s-sorry to have . . . to seal the Fox in . . . you but I k-know you can make friends with . . . him and the two of you can w-work together. I h-have faith in this. I know I  . . . made the r-right choice." Said Minato. With the last of his stranth Minato managed to finished sealing the Fox inside Kairi.

Kakashi had made it to where is Sensei was and cried that his sensei and Kushina was dead. He saw that Kairi was still alive. He rushed over and was stunned to see a complated seal on Kairi's stomach. He gently picked her up and rapped her in a blanket he found next to where she was laying.

Kairi was crying and Kakashi managed to calm her down. He looked to his Sensei and Kushina and said, "I will look after her Sensei. I won't let anyone hurt her. Kushina your daughter will be safe with me looking out for her." Kakashi said determined and ran off. He told the Therd Hokage when he got to him.

He was sadded to know that Minato sacrificed himself to save the Village. He looked at the now asleep baby girl in front of him.

"I know the Village won't take to kindly that Kairi is the new Jinchuriki of the Nine tailed Fox. The elders will probably want to put her in Root. I can't let that happen. She can't take her father's name because of his enemies." Said the third.

"I don't know what to do. We could pass her off as a ordinary girl that lost her parents in the attack?" Said Kakashi.

I don't think that will work. She looks just like her mother. It won't work." Said the Therd.

"I know! We can say she Kishina's daughter. no one knew that Minato and Kishina got married." Said Kakashi.

The Third smiled at Kakashi, "That is a great idea. Kishina's enemys are dead and their descendants wouldn't know who she is." Said the Therd.

"I know that Rin would be happy to watch over Kairi as well." Said Kakashi.

The Third nodded. He knew that Kushina told Rin and Kakashi that if anything happens to them that they wanted Kakashi and Rin to look after their daughter.

Kakashi took Kairi with him and left. The Therd sighed and thought, 'I won't make the mistake of telling anyone that Kairi is the Jinchuriki of the Nine tails.'
