Kairi and her friends were doing good in training. Sasuke was really getting on their nerves. Ichiro had gotten really fast and Kairi was so happy for him.

Kairi felt a bad feeling on the day of the second rounds of the Chunin exams. She told her friends and Kakashi and they were all a little nervous. They kept their eyes out. They knew to trust Kairi when she felt these things. She was always right.

They were now in the battlefield. They were in the place they had to wait. They were all a little nervous. Shikamaru really didn't want to be here but he stayed for his family and Kairi.

It wasn't much longer before they heard a guy taking over Gemma's job. He was in the hospital getting his cough looked at. Kairi hoped he was okay. She meet him a few times with Kakashi and the two became good friends.

"First match Kairi Uzumaki and Ichro Mizu."

The two of them come out and Kairi said standing in front of Ichiro, "who ever wins no hard feelings?"

Ichiro nodded with a smile. This made Kairi smile back. The guy said they could start when they were ready.

Ichiro ran at Kairi had started to try to hit her arms but Kairi dodged. She then got behind him and kicked him into the wall. She didn't want to hurt him to bad so so tried not to hit too hard.

Ichiro then got up and they tried to hit one another for a little. Then Kairi used a Water Jutsu. This made Ichiro dodge and land on the other side of the field. They were evenly matched. Kairi then did a Jutsu that she learned from her mother and it was called Water Style: Swirling Water.

This knocked out Ichiro. He was awake when the match was over. Kairi helped him up and he was looked over by a Medic. The Medic was glad to see that he just had a few cuts.

Then they headed back to the waiting arena. "You two did good. You both were on the same level." Said Shikamaru.

"Thanks." Said both Kairi and Ichiro. They waited for Sasuke and Gaara's match. Kairi was nervous for Sasuke. Gaara was really strong. He had the one tailed sealed inside of him. He was unstable as well. She didn't want Sasuke to get seriously hurt even if he was an full of himself.

Kakashi came in with Sasuke not to long. It was a close one. The match was going pretty good. Sasuke was keeping up with Gaara. Gaara wasn't able to put to much damage on Sasuke.

They were glad that Sasuke was avoiding Gaara's sand. It was something you really had to be careful of. It was's till Sasuke made Gaara bleed that things went down hill. Gaara started to let his tailed best out. Everyone grew scared and worried.

Kairi sighed and she also saw a Genjutsu was being put in place. She focused and she was able to take it down with Shikamaru's and Ichiro's help. Kakashi told Kairi and Ichiro to go and help Sasuke since he ran after Gaara.

The two sighed but nodded. 'Really Sasuke? You just have to fight someone that is way stronger then you.' Thought both Kairi and Ichiro.

They ran after Gaara and they were soon stopped by his older siblings. Choji, Kiba, and Shikamaru stayed to fight them. The two teammates got there and say Sasuke knocked out and Gaara going mad.

"Ichiro get Sasuke out of here. I'll take care if Gaara. A tailed best can fight another." Said Kairi.

Ichiro nodded and picked up Sasuke and before taking off he said to his friend, "Be careful. I know you can do this." Kairi smiled and said back, "I will. Get back safely." Ichiro nodded and he took off. He knew that Kairi was the only one that could save them from Gaara.

Kairi and Gaara faugh for some time. Kairi even summoned the toad boss to help for a little bit. This aloud Kairi to talk to her fox Friend.

He let her use two tails of his chakra. She was then covered in orange Chakra. It was bubbling like it was hot. Gaara was surprised by this. Kairi ran at him and shouted very angry, "Wake the heck up! I won't let you hurt my friends or my Village!"

This woke Gaara up and he was stund that she could wake him up. He was just looking at her in surprise. He was covered in wunds. Kairi was as well.

She started to heal herself with her fox friend helping her. "It's unpredictable isn't it? The pain of having a Tailed Best sealed within us. It's hard to see people look at us with hate or fear." Said Kairi sadly.

Gaara was even more shocked. He didn't know if he could get any more surprised. He just nodded weakly she was right.

"I didn't have the hate when I was younger but I did get it when everyone was told about the beast sealed in me. It was mostly the Villagers that gave me hate or fear. The Ninja seemed to get that I wasn't the fox. It was only some Chunin or Genin that tried to attack me." Said Kairi again. She was almost healed now.

Gaara was once again stunned. This girl knew how it felt to be feared or hated? Why didn't she turn out like him?

"Why? Why didn't you grew to hate them like they hated you?" Asked Gaara surprised.

"My friends and my little family. They are the reasons I fight. Why I'm still kind and why I haven't turned into the monster that they feared I'd be. They love me for me. They know I'm not like the beast sealed inside me. The love me for me." Said Kairi with a smile.

"You have siblings that love you for who you are not what you carry. They might fear you now but that's because you are unstable. The seal you have isn't like mine. You can get a seal that won't let your beast tall to you or be able to communicate with you." Kairi added.

She saw Gaara's siblings had come for him and she smiled a little before she said, "Think about that and I hope you will feel less like you need to prove you are here." Kairi then left. She felt a little pain in her left ankle. She got hurt there during the fight. She would have Rin look at it later.

Kairi got back to the Village and was told what happened while she was fighting Gaara. She was sad that the Third Hokage was gone. She was also sad for the people they lost. Which wasn't much thankfully.

Rin looked Kairi and the others over and healed them up. Kairi then helped when she was healed. Everyone was really greatful for Kairi saving them. They were glad to have her here.
