Maya's POV
I am so excited. It's a great day to sell Vanya ale. Then a Holy Comes in to taste it.
"Disgusting. It tastes like horse piss."
I was infuriated. Then Mead a little boy of the town throws a bug into his glass. I snicker. The Holy Knight then draws his sword and plunges it into the ground stopping the water flow. After he leaves I see a face that I haven't seen in ten years. Meliodas. I immediately panic. I hope he can't see me. Then I hear.
"Yo Maya. Good to see you again. Been a long time huh?"
"Not long enough. Captain. What are you doing hear?"
"Um Sir Meliodas? Is that really Maya?The Raven Sin of Grudge?"
"You bet. She's one of a kind."
"Who's this chick."
"Oh this is Elizabeth. The third princess of Leonas."
"You don't say. Well Captain you kinda came at a bad time. A Holy Knight cut off our water supply."
"I can fix that." He said.
I roll my eyes. I have nothing better to do other than follow. All the townspeople are trying to pull out the sword. Meliodas and I walk through the crowd.
"You know Maya, of people don't appreciate good booze then they shouldn't be allowed to drink it."
"I know right?"
"Sorry folks we don't have any money, bit I'm sure this should cover it." Said Meliodas.
And with that he pulled out the sword. The ground rumbled and water burst out of the ground. The people celebrated. I decided to help Meliodas with the tavern. I heard about the Forest of White Dreams. Jackpot.
"Captain. I know where you need to go. The Forest of White Dreams."
"Cool. You coming?"
"What? Me? Why?"
"We came here to find all of the Eight Deadly Sins. And we found The Raven Sin of Grudge. If you didn't come it would kind of defeat the purpose."
"Oh fine. I'll go. Let me change and get my sacred treasure Hamala."
I had no idea what I just got myself into.
