Monica's pov
I woke up to the sound of my alarm I got out of bed and got into the shower because today I had an appointment at the hospital for my ultrasound
Once I finished I walked to Daves side of the bed
"Dave wake up I've got an appointment to day"I said tapping him as he slowly got up
I got my coco butter and rubbed some in my palms and rubbed it on my body
I put my clothes on and went downstairs and had a snack
"You ready"Dave said as I nodded my head we walked towards the car and got in
"You still not talking to me" dave said
"Not until you call tayanna and tell her to come home"I said applying lip gloss to my lip
"Ight"he said focusing on the road
We finally got to the hospital we checked in
And sat in the waiting room
10 minutes later a nurse came out and called my name we got up she told me to lay on the bed and lift my top up
"The gel is going to be cold"the nurse said as I nodded my head
She placed the gel on my stomach and started to move the sonography around my stomach
Dave held my hand and kissed it
I heard the heart beat and automatically started crying tears of joy
"Look at my baby"I said
"What I'm really about to be a father"dave said smiling
"Your currently 3 months pregnant and you baby is healthy"the lady said wiping the gel off my stomach as I nodded my head
"And you can keep this"the lady said giving me the ultrasound picture
"Thank you"I said getting up and leaving the room we made are way to the car and we got in
"Can we stop at chick fil a"i said
"No"he said
"Why"I said
"Because I don't want the corona virus to get you"he said
"Dave please can we stop there"I said
"No there's food at home"he said as I mugged him and kept quiet
We finally got home and I went straight to the kitchen to find something to eat I found some left over mac and cheese from last night and I placed it in the microwave
I sat on the island and got my phone out and called my dad it rang twice and he answered
"Hey honey"my dad said
"Hi dad"i said
"How you doing"he said
"I'm good I've just got something to tell you"I said
"Go on what is it"he said As I showed him the ultrasound pic
"What you not being for real"he said smiling
"I am"I said
"What I'm about to be a grandfather"he said smiling
"Yh"I said
"I'm so happy for you and Dave"he said making me smiling
"Thank you"I said
"I call you later I'm at work"he said
"Ight bye"I said cutting the phone
I went in to the microwave and took my Mac and cheese out and started to eat it as I scrolled on Instagram
Daves pov
I saw Monica in the kitchen eating I kissed her neck as she continued to eat
"You still mad me for not stoping at chick fil a" i said
"Yes"she said
"Im sorry"I said as she ignored me
"Why you ignoring me"I said taking her phone out of her hand
"I told you I'm not talking to you till you tell teyanna to come home because I have a bad feeling about her staying with your dad "she said
"Fine I'll call her now"I said getting my phone out to call her
It rang 5 and it went straight to voicemail
I called her again and it went straight to voice mail
I started to get frustrated because Teyannas phone never went to voicemail
I had no choice but to call my dad
It rang once and he answered
"Hello David I knew you was gonna call"he said
"Let me talk to Teyanna"I said already getting irritated
"What makes you think she's with me"he said
