I kept checking my watch. 2am. 3am. 4am. Time was ticking by slowly. I patiently waited for Mike to awaken. I sat there, all night, watching him intently. He was sleeping peacefully, steadily breathing, but the terrible thoughts kept running through my head. I tried to black them out by moving around a bit, but I kept him in my line of sight. Up until now, I hadn't noticed the blood stains on my hands had dried out. I went further back into the Bunker to rinse my hands on. I turned the water on, and heard the sound of someone grunting. I came back in and found Mike sitting up on the table. I ran over to him.

"Thanks for not dying on me." I said, checking his pulse. Mike sat up, trying to gather himself. He checked his bandage.

"You did all of this?" He asked me. I nodded, trying not to get emotional. He patted me on the shoulder, his way of saying thank you. An alarm started going off on his computer. Mike told me to press the Alt and F1 keys. A voice from the computer spoke about a robbery on 12th and Maine, which wasn't too far away.

"Better get there quick." Mike said, hopping down from the table.

"No, I'm not going." I said. I wanted to be sure that he was fine.

"They need you more than I do right now. Go." Mike said, holding the blanket over his shoulders. He looked me in my eyes, giving me the affirmation I needed. I ran off to grab my suit. Finally, I've been dying for some action.

"Did they have any Twizzlers? I like Twizzlers." one girl said, trying to slip her heel back on.

"I don't know, look on that aisle. Danielle!" the other girl pointed to the back of the store.Danielle and her friends were trying to find some snacks. They obviously were still drunk; Danielle's friend kept tripping over her broken heel. They grabbed a handful of chocolates and sweets, as much as they could carry. Before they could finish paying-BANG! The front door's glass shattered in a million pieces. The girls fell to the floor, hiding in the aisle. Three guys in black hoodies and ski-masks ran in with huge shotguns. One guy grabbed the clerk from behind the counter and put the barrel to his cheek. The clerk scurried to open the cash register. A police patrol called pulled moments later, and opened fire on the guys. They guys in ski masks fired back, putting holes into the cop car and one of the officers. The girls screamed in terror, as bags of chips exploded and bits of candy rained down on top of them. One of the guys dragged Danielle by her hair. He snatched her up and put the end of his gun to her hip. The officers held their fire. The other guys grabbed the other girls and walked out the store, down the dark alley. I anticipated they would go down the alley, and I was eagerly waiting for them. I could see them holding girls by their hair, dragging some of them through the dark alley. I decided to strike, and hopped down.I threw a Nightblade at the alley wall. One guy turned quickly, letting go of the girl. Ducking down, I swiftly snatched her and hid her behind the damaged car.

"Don't move." I said, in a low and muffled voice. I reached in the back of my belt for my blast knuckles. I darted at the guy and struck in his ribs. 10,000 volts of electricity shot through his body, making him drop his gun. I jumped and spin kicked him, knocking him to the ground. The other guys started shooting in my direction, the girls still screaming in fear. I quickly climbed up the fire escape. They both were slowly backing up to the other end of the alley. THWIP! I fired my grapnel gun across from me, the drill bit pierced the alley wall. I swooped down and snatched the other girl right out of his clutches. The flashes from the shotgun grew brighter behind us, I quickly dropped down and made her get low. I fired my Snap Trap, the cable darted directly at him, ensnaring him in high-tensile cables. I snagged at the cable, lifting him up off his feet. He fell down, smashing his head on the concrete. His shotgun misfired as it smashed the ground, thankfully no hitting anyone. He tried to slip his arms through the cables, reaching for the shotgun, but I drove my foot down on his jaw.
