An old concrete wall collapses in from a pressurized blast of water, revealing a giant plesiosaur-like creature with a shell on its back behind it.
"Thanks Lapras. Return."
A kid, no older than 10, steps through the debris. It's pitch black, cold, and eerily quiet.
"Alright, Venusaur. You're up"
He tosses a red and white ball forward making an electronic pop as it hits the ground followed by a burst of energy. A huge scaly frog with a large plant sprouting from its back takes form.
"Stay on your toes. Those screams can't be too far away now."
The bulb on Venusaur's back began glowing with bio-luminescence while it took lead. The duo crept forward into a long hallway and eventually came to a suspiciously armored door. It had no handle. The boy and his Venusaur glanced at each other momentarily.
"I know what you're thinking. Go ahead, Frenzy Plant!"
The Pokemon stomped the ground, riling the plant on its back to grow thick tendrils. They burrowed into the floor and the concrete wall surrounding the door ripping it from its foundation. It dropped the nearly 5-Inch thick metal door on the ground with an echoing thud.
"Great work Venusaur, Return. Charizard, I'm choosing you."
He deftly switched PokeBalls deploying an orange bipedal dragon creature.
"Ready for action bud, I need this place lit up."
Charizard complied and flared his tail tip brightly. The scene that was revealed would change the world of Pokemon forever....
