“After we talk about Lucy and Yukino’s situation, what happened to Valerie?” Makarov asked.

Right now, Erza, Y/n, and Valerie just arrived at the guild. Their guild members didn’t surround them. They think that the cub, who is shivering under her partner’s coat on the table, needed space. Lucy, Natsu, Happy, and Yukino are not around the guild at the moment.

“I did a quick training with her. She wants to learn Aera. Jura said that she might got exhausted because of the training. But we don’t think that’s the reason. Look,” Y/n shows Valerie’s fur and paws, revealing that her constellation and star markings vanished. “They vanished.”

“You think Valerie’s situation has a connection with Lucy and Yukino’s situation?” Pantherlily asked.

“At first, no. But after learning what happened to the Celestial Spirits and the natural disasters in different areas, it may have a connection to Valerie’s condition,” Y/n said.

“Maybe not. She’s exhausted from your training with her,” Max said. “Remember what you said, you don’t know much about her markings.”

The dragon slayer sighed heavily and look at his partner in worry. Meanwhile, Erza glared at Max for making Y/n feel bad. The sandstorm mage shiver in fear. “I-I was only saying it!”

*DOOR OPENS*

“We’re back!” Yukino, Natsu, Lucy, and Happy arrived. They quickly joined the rest of the Fairy Tail members. Gray notices that Lucy is carrying something familiar.

“Lucy,” Gray pointed out the object she was carrying. “I thought you gave it to Y/n…”

“Gave me what?” Y/n turn to the Celestial Spirit Wizard.

“I forgot to give it to you,” Lucy said and placed the object on the table where Y/n and Valerie are at. The object is wrapped in a thick white cloth. It has a brown leather strap on it.

“What is it?” Y/n asked.

“The sword that Valerie gave you during the battle in Lux Forest,” Lucy said. “Ayaka told me to give it to you and wants you to take care of it. I… forgot to give it as we were celebrating that time.”

The dragon slayer examines the clothed sword, not sure if he wants to see the sword or not. He felt suspicious just by looking at it. “I’ll take a look at it later.”

Lucy decided to summon Crux, whom she summoned previously during the fake job she went with Natsu and Happy. The Celestial Spirit is aided by Horologium, the Celestial Spirit Clock, to cross the dimensions without harm. The spirit sat on the table of the bar, facing everyone.

“Another mustache guy,” Y/n mumbled.

“Crux-san,” Valerie murmured as she weakly stared at the Celestial Spirit. Crux began explaining what is going on in Celestial World.

“The contracts between the 12 Golden Gates and the Celestial Spirit Wizards have become nullified out of the blue. Perhaps due to that influence, they are wreaking havoc, the Celestial World has become a wasteland and we can only hide.”

“Can’t the Celestial Spirit King do something?” Gray asked.

“We don’t know where he is. He disappeared without a trace,” Crux answered.
