The two enter the office of the Mayor. They saw two people with rose pink hair sitting on the couch having some tea, waiting for them.

The scarlet knight already knows that Mei is the other one. She assumes that the other rose-pink-haired woman is her mother and the mayor of the city. She has crimson eyes. She looks around like Blue Pegasus' Jenny's age.

"Mama, they're here!" Mei said as she put her teacup down on the table. "Come here and join us~!"

Erza looks at Y/n nervously. He taps her shoulder before leading her toward the couch to join them.

"Y/n-san, I see you bought someone new that we haven't met yet. I would love to meet and know her," The adult sitting beside Mei said. "Is she your lover?"

"Lo... ver?" Y/n tilts his head, giving the mayor a puzzled look. Erza hides her face with his coat. Seems that people are mistaken for them both as a couple.

But who wouldn't? She's wearing his coat. His turtleneck is the same color as her hair. And the fact that he never brings any female in Meraki City other than her. Plus, going to a festival with someone you like is a cute and nice date.

Maybe... they're just friends who care and are very close to each other.

But no one saw how close they are to each other. No one knows what they've been through together. One of them has unsure feelings while the other one is unknown.

"Mama, don't say embarrassing things," Mei scolded her mother.

"*giggles* My apologies. I don't want to go ahead with your future together. Maybe they are not in that stage yet," The mayor said. Things got worse for Erza as her blush gets into a deeper shade. The tip of her ears starts turning red too.

But as for Y/n, he quite understands her statement. A future together with Erza? A faint shade of pink appears on his cheeks. He has a lot in mind, he never thought of having a future with anyone, especially her. All he knows is no one will stay beside him. Who wants to have a future with someone like him?

"I think you just made it worse," Mei said as she place a hand on her mother's shoulder. 'But Erza-san looks very cute in his coat.'

"I will speak no more about it then," The mayor said and faced the two wizards. "My name is Elysia, the Mayor of Meraki City. It's nice to meet you, lovely."
