Alexa, Emma, Regina, Killian, Robin, Henry, David, and Mary Margaret were all the inside the sorcerer's mansion while they searched for clues about what Gold and the author were up to.

"Nothing. They're all still blank." Regina groans tossing a storybook onto the table. "Whatever the author is writing is not appearing in these books. This is useless."

"Easy. This is not your fault." Robin reassures her.

"Even so — tomorrow, thanks to Gold and the author, I can wake up a talking frog." Regina retorts.

"Well at least you'll still be alive." Alexa points out.

"Not helping." Regina narrows her eyes at her.

"Sorry. Just trying to be positive." Alexa defends and opens another storybook.

"Well I don't doubt whatever the Dark One has in store for me is a far worse fate." Killian interjects.

"Well, there's no use speculating what he wants. We just need to stop it. And if there's nothing useful here we need to move on, find something else that can help." David urges.

"I might know just the thing." August admits walking in.

"August?" Alexa breathes. "What are you doing here?"

"I thought you didn't know anything more about the author." David says confused.

"He doesn't, but he knows someone who does." Emma tells them. "That's why I called him here."

"Who?" Mary Margaret inquires.

"The man who gave him the power — the apprentice. I met him once when I was living in Phuket. He was the one who told me about the storybook and that I should learn everything about it." August explains.

"If he was in Storybrooke could you find him?" David asks.

"Well, I haven't seen him, but.." August trails off as he pulls out a paper from his back pocket and shows it to them. "That's what he looks like."

"Now this shouldn't be.." Alexa starts.

"I know this man." Killian blurts.

"You do?" Emma questions.

"More importantly I know exactly where to find him." Killian responds. "He's in the sorcerer's hat."
