"It's okay, Alexa. As long as he's with Regina, Pinocchio will be okay." Mary Margret tries reassuring her.

"Like hell it is." Alexa scoffs. "I just wish I knew Regina tossed her phone sooner. I could have caught up with them."

"Lex, you couldn't have known that she'd drop that tracking device." Killian assures her.

"That still doesn't change the fact that I helped kidnap Pinocchio and put a child in danger." Alexa retorts.

"The tracks end here. Looks like the rain washed them away." David muses looking at the ground.

"Oh, would now be an appropriate time for a locator spell?" Killian asks.

"We may not need one." Mary Margret tilts her head. "Look."

Looking up the others watch as a large cloud of purple smoke soars through the sky, circling around Mary Margret before disappearing.

"Mary Margret." David frowns.

"What the hell was that? Are you okay?" Emma questions.

"I have to make this quick. We don't have much time." Mary Margret states in Regina's voice.

"Regina?" David inquires.

"Woah. Creepy." Alexa mutters.

"Pinocchio's fine. He's back to his old self — or.. older self." Regina corrects.

"August." Alexa breathes.

"But there's something else you need to know. Gold is here." Regina tells them. "We're holed up in his cabin and he's in town for more than just the author but he won't tell me why — which means whatever it is he's planning.. it's bad."

"So the Dark One's returned." Killian comments clenching his jaw and Alexa interlocks her fingers with his, giving his hand a reassuring squeeze.

"Yeah." Emma nods. "There's only one person who can help us drive him back out."

"Belle." Alexa realizes. "Well, let's not waste any time. Let's kick the Dark One out of town, again."

"He's.. he's here? Th — that's.. that's impossible." Belle stutters after Alexa tells her the news.

"Well, did you really think he'd stay away?" Mary Margret asks.

"The dagger — you need to hand it over so we can stop this fight before it starts." Emma urges.
