AS VANESSA was having breakfast with her mom and little sister, Laura, she heard the news that she's been longing to hear for years now.

As soon as she heard the news, all she could think about was telling William...and how she's going to tell William and when shes's going to tell William...

And I guess that's exactly why she's in her pajamas; running in the middle of the street to William's house on a Friday morning to tell him about what she had just heard from her mother.

  Vanessa was happy. Too happy.
I can't believe this is finally happening
Vanessa thought to herself as she continued to run to her best friend's place.

As she arrives at William's place, she lets out a long breath before quickly trying to pat down a few stray hair strands on the crown of her head. She starts knocking on the door.

His house and hers aren't far apart but since she ran so fast she was panting hard.

Damn, how am I so out of shape...?

The door slowly starts to open, and she's greeted by William's sleepy face and messy blond bed hair.
What a beautiful sight to look at so early in the morning. She thought.

"...Nessa? What are you doing here so early in the- wait, why are you in your pajamas?" He said in his sleepy voice.

"I have something to tell you!" She said very excitedly as she naturally entered his house.

"Huh? What's so important that you had to come so early on a weekend without texting, and in your...pajamas-" William let out a light laugh as he moved to the side to let Vanessa in.

"Hey! Don't laugh! It's not funny. I have some really exciting news to tell you,"

"It just doesn't help that your shirt has hello kitty prints all over it," and he starts laughing.

"Okay, fine, honestly I would laugh too if I were you.." She said as she looked down at her shirt and smiled a bit, but then looked at William whose face was a literal shade of red as he laughed harder and harder.

Vanessa sighs and hit him on the head lightly with her hand.

"Focus you ass! Plus, I don't think it's that funny, what's so wrong about Hello Kitty? she is the IT girl.." she said folding her arms.
"Okay, okay- nothing.. So..you were saying?" He asked as he rubbed the area she hit him on.
   "So....uh..." She started.
"I'm coming to your school!" she said quickly raising both her arms in the air.

William paused for a bit before speaking "...Wait what?!" He finally said, then rubbed his eyes as if he were dreaming.

"Yeah! I'm more confused and surprised than you are. Mom suddenly told me that I'm finally allowed to attend a mixed school, like a normal human being, and that I'm going to the same one you're going to!" She said excitedly. This was big news for both Vanessa and William.

"Apparently, my mom trusts you enough or whatever so she says I'm going to be in good hands...or something," she smiled lightly as she thought why her mom had to trust someone else to take care of her when she was fully capable of doing so herself. But she still looked at William, whose face was still shocked. "Isn't it amazing?  We have always wanted to be in the same school ever since, like, forever."

"Wait- this is great!" William said as he gave a wide grin. The grin that can make Vanessa's heart melt in a span of two seconds.
"I know!"
"This is so great that I can even do a little happy dance right now,"
"Oh...please don't." Vanessa's face panned as she looked up at William who was already getting ready to embarrass himself.
