Jungkook literally spent 5 minutes in front of jimin's door debating how he will knock and enter the room.
He was so nervous and he prayed that he will not face a crying jimin with puffy eyes because he will literally lose his shit and die.
He finally got the courage to turn the knot of the door slowly without making any sound. He peeked with one eye to see jimin laying on his bed facing the other direction.
He breathed and entered slowly tiptoeing until he reached the drawer
And put the plate.
He stood there for a good 30 seconds looking at jimin's back.
He just want one thing . He want jimin to forgive him. His eyes started getting wet and the next thing he does is getting slowly on the bed and burying his face in jimin's back hugging him tightly.
Jimin gasped and almost had a heart attack.
Jungkook started sobbing and closed his eyes.
"Hyung...j-j-jimin hyungggg "
He cried loudly
"I..I.. I'm sorryyyyy.. I'm so sorry.. I I didn't mean anything of what I said earlier..please forgive me .. p..please hyungieee.. I'm so stupid. You didn't eat anything today and it's all my fault. I'm so-"
Jimin started tearing up too and he shushed jungkook and hugged him back.
Then he started whipped his tears.
"It's okay jungkook I understand "
He caressed his hair gently as tears started streaming down his cheeks too.
"No..no you don't understand.. I'm really..r r *hiccups* really sorry hyung"
He snuggled his face in jimin's neck and hugged him even tighter.
"It's okay. Hyungie forgives you. It was my fault from the beginning. But Jungkook .. ahh..mm .. I can't breathe.. can you-"
"No..no..I wanna stay like this"
He shook his head with a pout.
"You're making it even harder for me Jungkook-ah..."
Jimin sighed whispering this which was not enough for jungkook to hear.
"What did you say?"
"Nothing Jungkook.. nothing "
They stayed hugging like that for 2 minutes until jungkook broke the silence.
"Hyung.."
"Yes kookie"
"It feels so nice.. let's stay like this always. Don't even think about leaving me or getting way ..never hyung"
"Kookie..."
Jimin said while looking into jungkook's eyes now.
"Hmm"
"I'm sorry.."
He kissed his forehead and cupped his cheek softly.
"For what.. you did nothing wrong hyung. You're the best. Don't say that again "
"Just.. I don't know. I felt like saying it"
Jimin's stomach made sounds alerting that he is hungry. Jungkook sat up and reached for the plate.
"Time for food"
"Kook-ah I'm not hungry now"
"Now.."
"I'll eat later trust me"
" I swear if you don't eat now I'll not eat for 3 days"
Said jungkook with an angry face.
So jimin's didn't have any chance.
"Ugh okay"
Jungkook insisted on feeding jimin so he gave up and let him. They started giggling and smiling again feeding each other and acting all cute and fluffy.

Everything is back as before and even better.
Jungkook couldn't be happier looking again at jimin's smiley eyes. He have always find them beautiful. Hearing his giggles again made him smile even wider than he ever smiled. Something about his hugs that made him feel home, safe everytime. He couldn't imagine jimin upset with him for even a day. He couldn't handle it and he promised himself he'll never be the reason behind his hyung's tears again.
Instead, he decided to protect him and never let anyone hurt him or make him cry.
After what happened made him realize how precious his jimin hyung is.
"Whatever is this .. whatever I'm feeling.
