Chapter 4

Billie's POV
I tell the guys to start packing their shit so we can get the fuck out of here when I come back. I run outside and get in the car. Her dad tells me to talk to Sara and tell her that she's alive and take back whatever I said to make her upset. "I can't do that everything I said, I meant." "You have to! You broke your promise and the world is going to shit." "That's not my fault." "Yes it is." "No it's not, I tried to keep it all a secret but she's out of control. She broke my car window and attacked my friend." "Well she never should have left the house!" "Look, I think that Martine can help end all of this." "Martine? You think she had something to do with all these people coming back? Please, she could barely make the beds the right way. You really think that Martine had something to do with my daughter being resurrected?" "Yeah, resurrected as A ZOMBIE! That's what people from her country do!" "Okay, just stop. I've had enough of your zombie shit." I ask him for Martines address so I can talk to her. "Okay. Only if you talk to Sara and tell her that everything you said wasn't true." UGHHH "fine." He takes me back to his house were Sara I walking around the house in a bloody dress talking on the phone. "What the fuck are you doing? Who are you even talking to?" "Someone who cares about me." "What?" Her dad looks at me "just talk to her." She disappears for a second and comes back eating a rat or something. Ewww. Her dad pushes me in front of him and towards Sara. "Okay! Okay I'll talk to her, but I want Martines address first." "You want Martines address?" Sara's mom questions. "Yeah." "Oh here, I have it right in the fridge." I take it and run out the door. I can hear James yelling at Emma for giving me the address. When I get to Martines her roommate tells me that she left and went back to Haiti. "Well, did she have something to do with people coming back from the dead?" "Why cause she's hatian?" "Well...yeah." "Dude that's racist." "But then why did she quit her job at the Wrights?" "Mr. Wright wanted her to sleep with him." "What? That's so fucked up." "Very fucked up, there's some fucked up shit going on." I guess I'll have to go back to Sara's house and find a way out of this. I run down to my car and head back to the house. When I walk in I hear Sara growling and her mom mumbling something. When I walk into the kitchen Emma is feeding Sara her fingers. "Emma what the hell!!!" I take some medical bandages out of the medical kit they keep in the kitchen and start wrapping up her hand. "Well she has to eat Billie and I don't know what else to give her." "Where's James?" "She...she ate him." "What?" She nods. "Okay, just keep that hand above your head...I'll watch her...just um, go rest." Emma hugs me then leaves me alone with her zombie daughter. "Hey...hey Sara." She makes a growling noise and ignores me. "I'm sorry about what I said. Of course I still love you." She smiles. "You...um...you wanna go for a walk?" She nods and follows me out the backdoor. "Okay, just...don't eat me." We start walking down the street and run into Tré. He has a gun and tries to shoot her but I explain to him that I need to do this and say goodbye. He hands me his gun and I hide it so Sara doesn't freak out. When we get to this hill where we shares our first kiss I plan to shoot her in the head. But first I say goodbye. "I know I was a shitty boyfriend. I loved you a lot...I didn't do enough with you, I wasn't there for you enough and I'm so sorry. I didn't get to say goodbye before but at least I get to know. I'll always love you Sara." She mumbles "I'll always love you, Bill." Once she turns away from me I shoot her in the head and watch her fall down hill. That was the worst think I've ever had to do. When I get back home all the dead people that were alive a second ago are now back to being dead. I guess I'll never know what caused this whole thing...maybe Sara did. Maybe she longed to be with me so badly that she came back from the dead but something happened that made more people come back. Whatever it was it was crazy. Now I'm with Adrienne. After everything ended we decided to get dinner. I loved Sara but I love Adrienne 100 times more.
