I huffed while running my fingers through the fabric of my black jeans as eyeing up and down the white t-shirt and yellow cardigan that i wore, i sighed, putting on my piercings.

I got my right ear pierced when i turned 13, but i had already struggled for the school to allow my navy blue hair, the piercings would be a pain as well, so i just preferred not to use them during classes.

Going out with Soobin sounded like the chance for him to know me better... But, since when i'm so confident like this? What if he doesn't want to know me in first place?

I pursed my lips and walked out of the room, checking up the time on my phone. I was almost late, so i took my keys out of the table and quickly waved eomma* goodbye.

"I'll be back by eight, eomma" i explained, twisting the doorknob.

"Have fun, Yeonie" she gave me a cheeky smile, and tilted her head a little.

"Ok...What is that for?" i asked, glaring over her expression

"No, it's just... You seem so bright, baby" the woman shook her head, getting up to hold my face in her hands "You'll be late to meet that boy, won't you?"

I choked on my own saliva the moment she uttered that word, and my lungs felt like ripping apart. I laughed nervously on a desperate try to mask my anxiety, but my mom wasn't buying any of it while she kept beaming an imponent grin all over her lips. I'm screwed...

"A-ah, eomma, how did y-"

"You know Beomgyu since middle school, but i've never heard you speak of him with such an enthusiasm as you did yesterday for that Soobin" she placed her hands over my both shoulders, squeezing them lightly "Maybe that's how my younger self looked when i first fell in love with your father, this bright and luminous"

"E-eomma, what do you mean?" i gulped, still trying to cope with my panicking state.

"I know, darling, i always knew... Just go for it" she pecked my right cheek "No matter what, i love who you are"

"I-i love you too, eomma, but this is too-"

"Soon? Oh, Yeonie, if it depended on you, probably you'd never tell me" eomma chuckled "Let's save this talk for another time, hum? For now, go get your prince"

I nodded while smiling gently towards her, before twisting the doorknob with my heart racing. Now Eomma knows i'm gay, even with my attempts to hide it and my plan to only tell her when i graduate... At least, her reaction wasn't that bad, i thought as walking fast down the sidewalk.

Soobin's house wasn't very far, by the address Beomgyu gave me, but i just couldn't calm my mind down, i had never done things so quickly with anyone before, and even then, although common sense said it was wrong, fuck common sense... it seemed so right, being around Soobin seemed so right.

I checked on my phone once more and realized i was already on his street, and roaming my eyes around the neighborhood, the enormous houses didn't go unnoticed.

Was that kid really this wealthy? I should've let him pay for my ice cream that day!

I took a deep breath when i was finally able to see the front of the beige house with an expensive sign on it: "Choi residence". I looked around and noticed a black intercom beside the gate, and took some courage to go near it, those rich people, i swear...

I pushed the bottom and immediately it rang on the other side, but i didn't have to wait long though, since just a few seconds later, a high-pitched voice answered on it.

"Hello!" he sang, making me giggle.

"Soobin-ah?" i said, trying hard not to laugh at his happily manner "You weren't waiting next to the intercom, were you?"

"N-no! Of course i wasn't!" he stuttered out, sounding embarrassed, cute.

"I'm kidding, so..." i throw my hands on my pockets while swinging my body back and forth "You coming?"

"Y-yeah, i'll be there in a minute" he told me before hanging up.

The view of his part of the town was quite breathtaking, all seemed on a perfect contrast, but it still didn't fit me and the atmosphere became heavy within seconds, is it wrong trying to be with someone who came from a place like this?

But as soon as my eyes spotted him, my dazes were taken away by his tall and joyful presence.

His dimples were visible as never but it was somewhat different from our usual school uniform. Soobin was dressed in all black, and despite his angelic aura, the darker clothes did suit him well.

"Hi, hyung" he greeted me with a shy smile.

"W-woah, hey" i gulped, trying to get rid of the warmth forming itself on my cheeks by shaking my head, which was useless.

My heart palpitations were telling me that i had made the right decision on asking him out. These new feelings i got, they aren't bad at all as long as i'm near Soobin.
