The smoky lights of the faded crescent moon
Barely intertwined hands that have to let go soon
Trapped inside a luminous illusion of the past
Believing the false prophesy that love will always lastFell blindly in the norm like cracked yellow dominoes
Wish upon the sacred wind to say where it goes
The sun went to sleep and the moon rise to peek
We decided to let go right here on a shallow creakI couldn't look at you when we slowly rose to depart
Hearing the crushing sound of my broken heart
I watch you walk a few yards to leave
I held my breath, the sigh I couldn't heave
Relieve how you didn't look back
For I might scream, I love you, but you won't give a fuck.
