Epilogue

3 days had passed since the whole mess erupted, the aftermath consisted of mostly cleaning up everything. We'd treated everyone's wounds and tried to cover up what happened to most of the school knowing that we did break the glass in the audio and sorta killed the lino and sound gear at the same time- EVEN THOUGH it was all me. The school gave out exceptions on the situation, and Lord Diavolo took hold of all damage. The school festival was postponed too and was rescheduled for next week which I was looking forward to.  

All the brothers seemed to be calmer but closer. In like a good way... especially with Lucifer. He'd always stick by my side and yes the normal gossiping went down through the student body and the inescapable teasing from the boys. We weren't anything they thought we were, we were just close. 

Close enough to think we were dating, I mean I am a human and he is a demon. My point is surely a demon could opt for someone of their ranks as a companion. In my consciousness, I knew I liked Lucifer, but I didn't want to keep my hopes up because my stay in Devildom was also soon coming to an end. This hurt me a lot, I had grown attached to everyone and just all of Devildom itself. It was something that I could never forget.

I was strolling through the corridors of RAD moving into lunch from my last period. I was, of course, given 'the smirk' by all the girls passing my way and the weird side glance from the boys. I couldn't blame them, the majority of the brothers here had a fan club- mostly consisting of girls due to their popularity.

Shuffling into the cafeteria I caught the gaze of Mammon who was cheerfully waving at the table we'd always sit at, he was accompanied by Levi and Satan who were busy either on their phones or nose deep in a book. I then felt fabric on my sleeved arm and it pulled me out of the room, making the swinging door close shut behind me. 

It was Lucifer, who else could it ever be? I stopped us both and patted down my uniform.

"So what's up? Satan and Mammon are waiting," I grabbed hold on the edge of his sleeve and tugged him slightly my way.

His mouth curled into a smile and his face lit up, his wrist covered my fingers and entrapped them in his. He tugged me forward in his way and started walking bringing me along. 

"You'll be with me instead today," 

I could feel my cheeks burning as I caught up, falling into step next to him. He dropped my fingers and held my hand -being careful of my wrist. We made our way up back to the rooftop where we almost- correction where I almost got impaled.

The door had been replaced and the daggers Lucifer hid in the crates nearby had been taken down and out somewhere safer.  It was a fine day, it wasn't too hot nor cold, right in the middle. It wasn't too cold that I wished I wore stockings it was just right. 

Man, I could get used to this.

"Y/N," 

I turned my head, we both faced each other. There weren't any killer lusting demon hot on our trail or any life-threating book existing. We were just living an ordinary life, just how I'd like it. He reached out for my hand and caressed it with his gloved fingers. With his other hand, he rubbed the back of his head, as a red hue appeared across his face. "I-I like you,"

I bit the top of my lip, my face flushing multiple shades of red. I brought my face up to level with his one. I nodded, smiling.

"M-me too,"

His arm wrapped around my back and engulfed me in his arms, feeling his warm body heat against mine. He chuckles in my ear.

"I'm happy you feel the same," 

Once we parted he placed his hand on me and pressed a kiss to my forehead, making myself giddy.We stood there gazing at each other and it felt like ages.

"GO GET A ROOM!" yelled Levi dragging Mammon with him down the stairs. 

I jumped in my tracks, startled. I turned my head to purple hair and ivory hair rustling up and down in panic.

Lucifer's head snapped that way and I instantly followed in motion they were watching the whole time. All 5 of them, Asmo say behind the crate clasping his hands together as if he watching his own kids grow up so fast. Levi and Mammon were long gone, and Beel and Satan were taking their sweet time smirking at us.

"I'LL BE THE CHILDS GODFATHER!" says Mammon from below faintly, a series of yelling followed on from that.

I started laughing, my hands were on my knees because of how hard I was laughing. What would I ever do without these idiots? I had everything I wanted right where I was and I was happy with that.
