I want to remember

High Priestess Office

Ambrose: (sighed) You better sit down cousin.

Sabrina: Don't tell me what to do Ambrose. Tell me what?

Hilda: You better sit down darling. (she said with a very loving expression and voice that Sabrina entered and sat down)

Zelda: If you don't mind Lilith, this is a family discussion.

Lilith: (rolled her eyes but immediately vanished)

After Lilith was gone, they all took turns and told Sabrina what had really happened. They told her that her plan failed that night in trapping the dark lord in the acheron configuration and that Nick took the Dark Lord in himself instead. And when Prudence and Ambrose found Blackwood, they made him the flesh acheron instead. Sabrina was very stunned at this confession but what more is that why couldn't she remember any of this and why did Nick get involved.

Sabrina: But --- ? I don't understand. Why don't I remember any of this and why would Nick take the Dark Lord in him?

Hilda: You we're together love. He was your boyfriend.

S: What are you talking about Auntie? Again, why don't I remember any of this?

Z: (took a deep breath) Lilith gave you a memory altering spell to remove him from your memories. She was afraid that you would do something rash and rescue your boyfriend and let the dark lord loose.

Sabrina hid her face into her palms. She was still trying to wrap her head around their confession. 

S: (turned to Ambrose) You didn't tell me?

H: He couldn't, love. We all couldn't. Lillith also casted a spell on us so that if we attempt to tell you, we would all feel excruciating pain.

S: And none of you ever thought to just counter the spell?

Z: It was an irreversible spell Sabrina. And frankly, I'm thankful that it was. Who knows what you could've done if --

H: Zelda! Stop it!

S: (tears of anger now falling from her eyes) You let --- I let my boyfriend be sacrificed for me and I didn't even remember it. 

Sabrina was silent for a moment trying to let everything in let the pieces of events fall into place. She felt like her heart was going to explode. Being lied to by her family was the last thing she expected. They could've figured something out to let her know. She knew that if they willed it, they could've. But one thing was made clear by this confession. The emptiness she felt, it wasn't because she imprisoned her father, it was because of her not remembering Nicholas. She felt so much pain in her heart. She closed her eyes, and memories of the time she thought she first met him came flooding back. She remembered the suffering Nick was going through, it was because of her.The reason why he said she didn't know him was because of the spell. Then she opened her eyes.

S: I want to remember.

A: There might be a way cousin.

S: (she looked at him but she couldn't she him cleary because of the tears in her eyes)

A: (Approached her and kneeled, so that they were at an eye level. He wiped her tears and took her hands, then he spoke with a soothing voice) Cassius said that, if you wanted to remember him, you could. Remember the dreams that you have been having about the Kinkle mines? It was real. It was the time when Lilith took Nicholas to hell. You were there.

S: I keep having these visions too. It started during Lupercalia. I thought I was only seeing things so I kept shoving them off.

A: They're all real, cousin. You just have to let them in. Let yourself remember. I think I can help you, I can cast a spell to link my mind to yours. I can give you my memories of Nick before the spell but you have to let yourself it in. 

S: (nodded)

A: We need candles.

Hilda: Is there anything we can do to help, love?

A: You can help me with the spell Aunties.

They all took out the candles that they could find and lit them. Once they were ready, Sabrina sat down on the chair again surrounded by candles. Ambrose positioned himself behind her and placed his hand on her head while Hilda and Zelda place their hand on Ambrose's shoulders and they started chanting a spell. After a moment, memories of Nick from Ambrose started appearing in Sabrina's mind. The first memory was dark, then she remembered this was the night they tried to ressurect Harvey's brother, Tommy. It wasn't a long memory since he only saw a glimpse of him as they were burying Agatha in the Cain pit. Then everything went blurry and new setting appeared, they seemed to be performing for a play. It was a view from backstage where Ambrose was. He was watching a scene of her and Nick. She saw herself as Lilith and Nick was playing as Lucifer. They kissed and the curtains closed and they continued to stare at each others eyes. After that it became blurry again and they were at the Academy. It looked like it was the first night of the Lupercalia where they were performing the matching. Then she remembered this was the memory that she had during the last Lupercalia. She continued to watch. Dorcas was the one who was paired with Nick but then, she started to go to the warlock without a partner and it turned out that it was Nick. Her heart ached. Nick's ex-girlfriend was her. It was her all along. Just then a new memory emerged, it was her and Nick during their first Lupercalia, "You're pretty special, Spellman. I don't wanna mess things up with you." She was starting to remember on her own. She lifted her hand and held Ambrose's hand as a signal that he should stop. So they stopped the spell but Sabrina didn't open her eyes. Her eyes were filled with tears as the memories came flooding back to her until the night Nick took the Dark Lord in himself and for the first time, she remembered what exactly happened down in the mines.The she opened her eyes and stood up.

S: I want to see him.

A: I'm afraid that's not possible, cousin.

S: Please Ambrose (her voice broke).

A: He's down in the dungeons tied up

S: (gave him a worried and puzzled look)

A: Yesterday, he tried to kill one of the coven members. He probably had another of the hallucinations he's been having.

S: What? Why?

Then Ambrose filled her in with what happened to Nick after they got the Dark Lord inside him. 

S: (collapsed on the chair) This is all my fault. If only my memories weren't altered, then I could've found a different way.

Z: And what, doom us all?

S: Auntie, are you hearing yourself? A member of the coven took the Dark Lord inside him. For me. And he didn't even hesitate. And every second of it was torment and suffering for him. (turned to Ambrose) You've seen what happened to him after. You've all seen it. I did too. I just didn't know the reason behind it. He wasn't himself and I--- I couldn't even remember him. I should've at least been there for him. 

(silence)

S: (spoke softly) The last time we spoke, I was angry at him and told him I didn't know if i could ever trust him again. He didn't have to do it. And yet he did, so that i wouldn't be the one to become the flesh acheron. All he ever did was help me. And it's now my fault he's like this. (turned to Ambrose) I want to see him.
