How do we do this?

The next few days were very busy for the Spellmans including the Weird Sisters. While Ambrose and the Weird Sisters were meticulously making the spell to help Nick, Sabrina was practicing on channeling her Aunt Hilda and Zelda was back at the Academy, business as usual while trying to fortify the Academy's protection spell. Every now and then, Sabrina would bring Nick food but she purposely went there while he was asleep. As for their problem with the dark lord, Lilith seemed to be handling him for they haven't heard a word from her since she disappeared the night they told Sabrina everything, which the hope would last longer till they get Nick better.

Spellman's living room

Evening~

Hilda: Dinner is ready, my darlings.

And one by one they came into the kitchen, along with Zelda, who has made it to dinner every since their talk with Sabrina.

Ambrose: (after getting food and settling down) How is your spell practicing, cousin?

Sabrina: Well, i can now channel in a closed room without the actual elements so, i guess it's going well.

A: Good, because i think the spell is ready.

And they all looked at him except for the weird sisters.

Zelda: Is it really?

A: (deep breath) Yes, we have doubled

Prudence: Tripled!

A: Tripled checked everything and it should work.

S: Let's do it tonight. Midnight.

Agatha and Dorcas: Mmmmm... witching hour.

H: Alright, but how do we do this?

A: Well, first things first, we need to drain Nick of his energy in order for the spell to work, so, Sabrina will have to start doing the spell so that his energy will be depleted. The spell's not meant for 2 people so his energy will weaken fast.

H: What about Sabrina's?

S: I'll be fine Auntie. The ring has magical abilities that will keep the bearer safe, so I'll be fine.

Z: Are you sure this will be safe for you? Has the ring been tested?

S: No auntie, but i trust what Nick said. So, Ambrose?

A: While you are channeling him, it will slowly penetrate his mind to try and open up for the spell, once his energy is depleted, Aunt Zelda will perform a spell to link both of your minds together. Nick will be inside a circle to help the spell focus on him, once you're linked, you need to enter that circle as well then we will continue with the spell. Now, cousin, i will give you this cord which will be tied to me, only when you've found Nick's inner core, shall you break it. Remember, doing this is dangerous to Nick, his life is on the line. We only have one chance.

S: (nodded) And once the spell is done?

A: Let's hope that it'll work and we'll have Nicholas back.

S: Will I--- (she hesitated but also wanted to know the answer to the question she was about to ask) will i be able to talk to him once we're linked?

A: Technically, since you're minds are linked. But it's best not to, cousin, we don't want to interrupt him down his search for himself.

S: (nodded)

H: Let's all eat up then. We're all gonna need it.

Embalming room~

After dinner, Sabrina went down to give Nick his dinner. She placed the food on the bedside table. Nick was sleeping on the bed which Aunt Hilda magically brought down for him. She smiled and thought, "Aunt Hilda really did a good job making it comfortable for Nick." She can't even recognize it as their embalming room with all the curtains and cloth that covered all of their stuff for embalming. She took a deep breath and stared at Nick.

S: (whispered) We're going to save you.

N: (spoke softly and gently) I told you to forget about me. (still had his eyes closed)

S: I can't.

N: Why? Is it because you think you owe me something?

S: You do know it's me, right?

N: It doesn't matter if this is all in my head or real. What difference does it make? (He got up and faced Sabrina) What i wanna know, is why you're doing this.

S: Because you don't deserve this. You didn't deserve any of this.

N: (smirked) Yeah. I've heard that before. (lied down again and stared at the ceiling) You know, we must've had hundreds of these conversations, and you've given me that answer for the 21st --- or maybe the 33rd time --- sorry, i'm not even counting anymore. Any other answers?

S: Because----- because i love you, Nick.

N: Heard that too. Besides, we both know you never loved me. It's always been the mortal. And i tried so hard just to get you to see me. Did you know, that even without the dark lord telling me to give you a wicked time that I still would've tried to anyway? (laughed) It's like you put a spell on me, Spellman. But i knew i could counter it if i wanted but i was so stupid to let you enchant me. (glanced at Sabrina who's eyes were watery then he let out a sigh) Now I wonder what would've happened if i did counter that spell. (then he got up) What would've happened if i never met YOU?

S: (tears we're now pouring out of her eyes) Do you want to know when i realized that i love you? We were at the balcony of our house and we were having a party to get the mortals and our kind together. I was ready to show them about us witches existing. And you asked me if i was ready to do it, and i was. And then i asked you if you would catch me if I fall, and you said,

Sabrina and Nick: (at the same time) I will. You won't.

S: Fly or fall, i was ready, because i knew even before i asked that you would catch me if i will. And that moment, i realized that i loved you. You were the one who was always there for me even when my heart was still with Harvey. You were patient with me and you have always believed in me. (then she smiled) We may have had a moment when we got expelled but you came back, even after losing the only family you've had because of me. (took one of Nick's tied up hand) I love you, Nick. I didn't say it before because I still wasn't sure and well, we got caught up with me being the herald of hell. But i should've.

N: (stared at her for a while) Well, that's new. (he pulled his had away from Sabrina and laid down and looked at the ceiling and thought for a moment) I want to believe you. Hell knows how i want this to be true. But I'm done hoping. Do you know what happens after i wonder of what would've happened if i never met you? I kill you. And I've done it hundreds of times. That's why i drank the concoction, to help me clear my head of those thoughts and make me realize that it's not real if there ever was a concoction that i drank anyway. So you see, YOUR FATHER has done everything he can so that even if i get free of him, I can never be with the one i love again. So just stop.

S: You may have given up but i haven't. I know that there's still a way for you to get better. (stood up and left)
