"Daisy, wake up, we need to get ready for church." My eyes flutter open and squint my eyes adjusting to the light shining right into them. "Clyde..." I growl whilst pulling myself onto a seated position and stretch, yawning loudly and covering my mouth with my one hand uncomfortably.

I look at the alarm clock next to the bed. "Six o clock. Are you serious, Clyde?" I can hear the shower turning off, and his footsteps growing louder. He takes out the toothbrush out his mouth and smiles. "Yes. We have an early meeting today, Dais, and I have work as well. Come on. Oh, in the bathroom. Check the bags."

I groan, throwing myself backward, and bumping my head accidentally. "Ouch." He laughs, disappearing again. Of all the days he wakes me up at this time. The sun begins to warm my skin as I roll over and bury my face into my pillow and groan softly.

"Daisy. Come on. Are you up?" I shoot up in bed, blinking furiously to try and clear my vision. I throw my cover off and hurry to the bathroom, taking a quick shower, and changing into a white flowery dress. I take notice of my messy hair, which means that sleep didn't help much. I grab a brush and comb through my long hair, which reaches my bottom. Sometimes it's a menage having hair like this, but I love it.

I leave it lose, allowing it to air dry, and brush my teeth. "We need to go, Dais." I rush down the stairs as fast as my legs will carry me. I spot him standing by the front door, waiting patiently for me to join him. "Almost took your time." I slap his shoulder. "No. I had to rush everything." I grab my purse and shoes by the front door, and quickly climb into my heels.

He leads me out of the house, closing and locking the door behind us. "Want to stop for a quick coffee and then we're off?" I nod, smiling brightly. "That sounds like a plan." He laughs and pecks a kiss on my cheek, making me blush profusely.

We arrive at church and we enter through the side door, we go over to the choir room and sit down at our usual spot. People start filing in soon after and we all take our seats, the hymn singing starts. As I look up at the ceiling above the choir room and smile to myself, I wish that today could be just like every other Sunday morning.

Well... except Sundays are usually quiet and peaceful, there isn't too many people and the hymns are beautiful. Today is different, though. The song seems to fit.

"Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to join together in this life of Christ to celebrate His holy resurrection. We welcome these dear souls unto His glorious Lord our God, Jesus Christ." I smile wider as he finishes the hymn, watching the congregation applaud happily.

Clyde shifts his fingers in between mine, and I smile to myself. I feel warm inside whenever I witness a bunch of people happy and full of joy because they love God. Not that they have a problem with Him, but because of Him. Everyone is doing their best to make him proud, everyone loves Him dearly, everyone believes in Him, everyone tries their best.

"Thank you very much everyone, now I'd like for everyone to join in with your hand. Feel the air. God is here amongst us."

They love Him so much. "I love you, Jesus..." I whisper quietly and I can feel Clyde squeezing my hand. I know what happened last night and it shouldn't. This is where we belong. This is our life. Our church. "I'm here... I'm right here,"

No matter who they are, everyone is willing to give it their all, even though they don't know it. Once he's done signing, he stands up and makes his way toward the podium.

"Hello and welcome to our newest members of our community. Our lovely new members! Today we're going to start today's special service, a wonderful reminder from our Lord and Savior Himself that we must never stop loving him, because our lives depend upon it, for this is the time of life of Christ. For the sake of those who are born into His family and those who are raised into His family, for the sake of those who have lost all hope in Him, and He forgives. We must work hard in faith and devotion and believe in His word. This is the time for prayer and prayer alone is what will save our hearts. So, I'd like you all to pray. Thank you, God, Jesus Christ. He is truly alive. Thank you for giving us faith in Christ. Thank You for the blessings bestowed upon us today. Amen!"

People stand from their seats and make their way towards the assigned pew in the middle of the church. Some are already on their pews while others are slowly moving toward their designated spot. I take a seat next to Clyde, who's already in his own pew.

A lot of people come up to the podium to pray for the newcomers and it reminds me of the day of my baptism. It's so nice to know that some people are praying just as hard and earnestly as those people in the chapel downstairs.

After some time passes and everybody is finally seated, I notice that here isn't nearly as much noise coming from them as I've become used to during the past few weeks. After the last person settle themselves, the minister takes his seat as well, and the organ begins playing a slow melody and the choir starts performing in order.

I listen carefully to the words of the hymns, I haven't sung in a such a long time, so when they begin singing the words to the tune of 'Amazing Grace', I can't hold back my tears.

Thank you, Jesus. For bringing me back to life again. Thank you for preparing my home in your heavenly kingdom in the afterlife. Thank you for showing me how precious and real life really is. Please let this moment be an everlasting remembrance. For when I close my eyes in pain and sorrow, and when I'm unable to move my arms, and when I'm weak and in agony.

I will always whisper your name and pray You come. I think only of You. Your peace will always be by my side. Because you keep watch over me. Please show me Your love and kindness each and every day, for You know that is well now. Thank You, Jesus, for keeping my spirit high and my heart full.

Thank you, Jesus, for being the light I need. Thank You, Jesus, for the gifts You give me. Thank You, Jesus, for saving me. Amen!"

"Clyde, it's good to see you and Daisy. It's been a while since Daisy have joined us." I don't know what to say exactly. "I haven't been around here often Sir." He nods, smiling. "I understand, well, it's good to have you back, Daisy." I smile softly. "Thank you, Sir." He smiles at me, returning his attention to Clyde. "I have some amazing news, Clyde. You can preach next Sunday."

"Thanks, Sir. I'm looking forward to it." "By the way. How are the studies coming along?" Clyde smiles at him. "Good, Sir. Almost done with this year, and then I can start my journey as a pastor." He nods in acceptance. "I'm glad to hear that son. Good luck." "Thank you, Sir."

"So, when does the teaching start, Sir?" "Can you be here Thursday afternoon? You and Daisy?" "Yes, of course, Sir. We'll be here." He gives a slight nod, and continue... "This week the pastor is going to teach you some very important things about our faith, about our fellowship and also about our relationship with Jesus. I'm sure you'll learn quite a bit. I'm certain Daisy will too."

"Thank you, Sir." I look at Clyde, smiling at me reassuringly. The pastor takes his stand and greet us respectfully and takes his leave.
