~Gray's POV~
Akane has been distant the past few days. If someone tries to talk to her, she gets up and leaves. I'm the only person, other than Natsu, she let's talk to her unless I try to ask what's wrong. "I can't believe I'm doing this." I mumble to myself. "Natsu! Do you know what's bothering Akane? I'm worried." He looked me in the eyes then said... "Yes... but I can't tell you or anyone else. Trust me you are better off not knowing." with that he walked away.
"Gray-sama what's wrong?" "Nothing Juvia, I'm ..... *sigh* ... Natsu knows what's wrong with Akane but he said it would be better if I didn't know." "When Juvia asked Akane what was wrong she said 'don't get involved with my past if you don't want to get hurt.'" 'So it has to do with her past!'
"Gray!" Ya Erza?" I say/ask while walking over to her and Gramps. "Gray, Erza you two along with Juvia, Lucy, Gajeel, and Elfman are going to go find..... Natsu, Happy, and Akane. Nobody can find them." "Juvia knows somewhere Akane likes to go to be alone." then Lucy said, "And I know where Natsu goes." ""If they were there we would have found them by now." Erza said. Juvia and Lucy looked at each other then said at the same time " No you wouldn't have."
~Juvia's POV~
Juvia is worried about Akane and Natsu. Akane is most likely at that pond she took Juvia to before. "This way Gray-sama and Erza-sempai." "Juvia do you even know where we're going?"
~Gray's POV~
"Juvia do you even know where we're going?" Erza asked. "Yes." We kept walking till we were at some type of pond, and you could see Akane on the other side. We ran over to her. "Akane! We've been so worried." Erza said. Akane just stayed there looking at the ground. "Let's go back to the guild hall alright Akane." I held her hand gently for a moment before she pulled away from me. "Just leave me alone!!!" Akane all but screamed at us.(still not looking up) "No! You're part of the guild meaning your family and you are also my girlfriend. I want to help you with whatever has you pushing me away." I said on the verge of tears.
"You CAN'T! No one can." right after saying that she started screaming (in what sounded like pain) while holding her throat. When I tried to help her stand she pushed me away so I wasn't touching her. "Erza I think you should go get the master." "Okay. Just try to calm her down while I'm gone." With that she left to get the master. 'God! please tell me there's a way I can help Akane.'
