Chapter 8

Killian~

            I carefully lay Emma back on the ground. I look at her. Her skin was getting pale and her lips were turning an icy blue. But in a way she was still incredibly beautiful. I look away quickly. I look at the window. It was outlined with thick icy snowflake. I could see the worried faces of all of Emma's friends and family. I didn't see David much because he was trying to break down the door. I can't help but feel like this is all my fault. But what's done is done. I could feel my eyes growing gray with remorse, guilt, and sadness. I look over at Elsa who still had her coky smirk plastered on her face.

           "Come. Take my hand, love." She says to me and waves her hand to tell me to go over there. I walk over and stand by her. She waves her left hand slowly over the icy scene. She let's me witness what's going on for a bit. David bursts through the door and runs over to my Emma. He quickly swivels his head over to me. He could see the gray in my eyes and was going to go after Elsa to save me (shocker) but we poofed away.

David~

            The doors were frozen shut and there was no way of getting in. But I didn't give up. Finally Elsa unforze everything and with a final blow I kicked the door down. I run over to Emma and hold her in my arms. She was so cold. I quickly turn my head over to were Hook and Elsa stood. Before they poof away I could see how much pain Hook was in. It was like someone tore out his heart and crushed it in front of his eyes. I take out my sword and charge at Elsa. But she did that thing Regina does and teleported away. Even though I hated Hook. Like sooo much, I felt it was my duty to reunite him with my daughter. She's never been happier then when she's with him. I turn my head back around and see Dr. Wale hauling Emma away. Snow walks up to me with Baby Neal. She puts her forehead against mine and cups my face in her hand.

              "You did everything you could David." She tells me sensing that I was disappointed I couldn't save the person that makes my daughter happy, and that I couldn't even save my own daughter. I feel so useless going up against people with magic.

                After some time of waiting in the hospital with Henry,  Dr. Wale comes out. He looks happy but sad at the same time. Hopefully he was drinking on the job again and was sad about his own problems and that Emma would be OK.

                "David Emma will be alright." He says. I sigh in relief. "Her condition is not serious but she was so cold its a miricle she didn't slip into a coma. You got lucky this time. But nobody not even you is permitted to see her until tomorrow. She still needs to defrost a bit."

                 "OK we understand." I answer bluntly. I wanted to protest but I was worn out. Emma will be alright. I have Little John, Will Scarlet, and Robin patrolling her room tonight just in case. Henry and I finally head home to Snow in relief.

Killian ~

           Elsa and I arrive at the icy fortress she made in the middle of the woods. I instantly release my grip on her hand and back away from her. Why can't she just accept the fact that I will never love her. Emma stole my heart and there it will always stay. Nothing more.

             "What do you plan on doing now lass?" I ask breaking the silence. Elsa eyes me for a moment.

             "Why I want you to be my slave Killian." She walks closer to me now. I don't back up. I won't want her to know that I sort of fear her. She is now so close to me I could feel her icy cold breath. "My devilishly handsome, sexy slave. Who responds to all my needs." She is getting closer to me now. And before I could respond her lips crashed into mine. Without a thought I instantly push her away.

              "See Killian. I had this all planed out. See that chocker necklace you now have around your neck? Well let's just say its a dog collar." I feel around my neck and sure enough I was wearing a chocker necklace. I tried pulling it off but to no avail. "If you wander so much as five feet away from my castle without permission you'll freeze from the neck and below. Then you'll just have to wait until I come and unfreeze you. When I feel like it. That's just one of the 'perks' of this job."

             "One? There's more?" I say as I gulp.

             "Well as far as I know, anybody who possesses a magical sense, is partially immortal. So we live about a hundred years more than an average human." She moves her hand across her face and I feel a sharp tingle up my arm that still has a hand. The pain was unbearable so I fall to my knees and tightly hold my arm between my chest and legs. "Now you possess the same ability. So I can never lose you. At least until about 150 years." She laughed as I look up to see her hovering above me.

             Great another 150 years added onto this. What a life. Hey the good thing is Emma will live the same amount of years. The pain in my arm stopped but as the thought of Emma came to mind a pain even more unbareable than the last settled in my heart. I knew I would never see my Swan again. I won't be able to feel her touch, her soft lips against mine. The worst thing was that I haven't had my way with her yet. If I escape this icy solitude, that's the first thing I'm going to do when I see her.

             "Is...there.....more?" I say in between groans as the more I think of Emma the worse the pain gets. What i would give to feel her touch once more. My heart is convinced I'll never see her again.

              "Actually yes. This one you might like. See I have a magic mirror. Almost like your queens. Regina is it? Well that doesn't matter. Anyways, you will be able to see Emma once a week through the mirror." I jolt my head up surprised but relieved. "I want you to see her pain and suffering of you leaving her behind. Right now everyone thinks you chose me instead of her. When she wakes up and hears this, I want you to watch. The day she wakes up and hears the news of her 'true love' leaving her she'll be devistaed. And your going to watch every minute." She laughs evilly and walks up the intricate stairway to her courters. "Oh and by the way, you'll be sleeping with me in my bed every night from now on." She smirks and slams her doors.

              Angry I yell at the top of my lungs. I keep my position and begin crying. Why can't I just once have a happy ending for once?
