I heard Laxus' words that day, but I failed to comprehend them. His words sent me into a shock. But I was brought back to consciousness by Cana's yell of, "YOU SICK DISGUSTING PIG!"
I looked around and saw the iron dragon slayers iron rods sticking through the top of the basement room. But that wasn't all. Almost everybody who was in the basement had some kind of injury.
Then, it dawned on me. The cause of all those injuries was none other than ME. All of this happened because of MY father. All of these things happened because I ran away from home. It all happened because of ME.
Laxus is offering to help, If I agree to be his woman. It only makes sense that I agree. That I take this chance and agree to fix MY mistake.
So because of this reasoning running threw my brain, I took a deep breath in and walked up to the lacrima.
"Lucy? What are you doing?" Mira asked. But I couldn't hear her. It was like I was underwater, I couldn't make out anything my friends were saying.
But I was able to hear the three simple words that came out of my mouth quite clearly. "Ok. I accept."
And with that,
I had officially sold my soul to the devil,
or should I say the lighting dragon.
Nah, I'll stick with the devil, because that is what he was to me at the beginning.
