In a land far far away. Lies the kingdom of Fiore. A small peaceful nation of 17 million and a place filled with magic. Found in every home. Bought and sold in every market place. For most magic is merely a tool. A mundane part of everyday life. For some however, magic is an art and they've devoted their lives to it's practice. These are the wizards. Banded together into magical guilds. They plant their skills in search of fame and fortune. Many such guilds dot the landscape of Fiore. But there is a certain guild, In a certain town sores high above the rest. One from which countless legends have been born. A guild that will no doubt continue to create legends well into the future. It's name is,

"Really Blondie?" A teasing baritone voice asked as Lucy finally started to process what had happened around her. "You're gonna need to become stronger if you're my woman."
"Laxus?" Lucy stated more than asked, shocked. She looked around and saw that nobody was hurt. She has only heard a little bit about him from the other and a little bit more from articles and news as well. From what she had gathered he uses lighting magic and is one of Fairy Tail's few S-class members. But what really stood out to her was that he was the guild master's only grandchild. Which was quite hard to believe since they acted nothing alike.
"Laxus! What are you doing here?" A shocked Erza asked. Not expecting the lighting wizard to be here, let alone helping them in their battle against Phantom.
"Oh, guess you didn't hear now did you, Titania? Laxus chuckles, swinging an arm around Lucy's shoulders. She had expected physical contact with the man to feel weird or scary, but it felt the exact opposite. It felt warm and comforting. As if she was exactly where she was supposed to be.
"Here what?"
"That Blondie here has agreed to become my woman. So right now I'm only doing what a good male should do and looking out for what's his." Laxus answers, "As well as reminding others what happens when you mess with what's mine." he says, turning to glare at Phantoms giant.
"Lucy why on earth did you agree to such a thing?" Erza asks. Lucy is about to answer but is once again interrupted by Phantom.
"Fairy Tail wizards, can you hear me." the voice of Phantoms Master echoes through the air. "As seeing that the Jupiter Canon, was destroyed by her good friend the Lighting God, and did not work. I will tell you this, If you don't hand her over to me, I will be firing a Dark Wave over all of Magnolia." As he said this, the giant slowly started to move one of his hands. It was drawing a magical circle.
"Oh no. He's right. A Dark Wave that huge could wipe out the entire city." Mira cries out.
"Oh I wouldn't worry about the town if I were you." Laxus states.
"How could you say that!" Gray shouts at him.
Laxus glares at Gray, but is interrupted by Freed, Bickslow and Evergreen flying down. "Laxus, I have done as you have asked and have created an enchantment to separate the town and the guild hall." Freed reports, not even sparing the rest of the guild a single glance, but he does give Lucy a gentle smile, a type of smile a big brother would give his little sister.
"Wait, an enchantment?" Happy asks.
"Of course you little furball. How else do you think we do S-class missions without breaking anything? Once Freed puts up his runes, we can go all out." Evergreen brags from behind her fan.
Bickslow comes in front of the group, "So here's how it's go-"
"No way! Why should I listen to you." Gray interrupts him, crossing his arms over his chest.
"Maybe because he's got the entire place memorised. So here's how it's gonna go. All you pathetic little flies are gonna quite down and guard the guild hall. Well one of you, I don't care who, takes Lucy to the safe-house. So you can tell that seinale old geezer that you actually did something." Laxus roars.
"Oh really, and what are you guys gonna be doing huh?" Happy asks, forgetting that laxus didn't mention who would be doing the 'hardest' job.
Laxus just gives Happy a grin full of bloodlust. "I thought that would have been obvious by now. Me and the Thunder Legion are gonna be taking that weak little guild down. And if any of you flies get in our way, then we'll take you out with them." then with that the Thunder Legion was moving out, each taking a starting point in the robot to start destroying.
"Uh, what should we do?" Macao asks, unsure. As he stares at phantoms undead soldiers.
"We do what Laxus asked us. Gray can take Lucy somewhere safe, well we stand here and protect the guild hall." Lucy is shocked, because the person who said this, is the one person no one expected to.
