4. Rakurai

Fairy Tail and it's characters belong to Hiro Mashima. This is only my version of what would have happened if Lucy took Laxus' offer on becoming his woman. Dragon Slayers have mates in this. The dragon slayer's who have a close connection with their dragon side or know it's there can train to become connected with them. Laxus and Gajeel don't know about this till later.

In a land far far away. Lies the kingdom of Fiore. A small peaceful nation of 17 million and a place filled with magic. Found in every home. Bought and sold in every market place. For most magic is merely a tool. A mundane part of everyday life. For some however, magic is an art and they've devoted their lives to it's practice. These are the wizards. Banded together into magical guilds. They plant their skills in search of fame and fortune. Many such guilds dot the landscape of Fiore. But there is a certain guild, In a certain town sores high above the rest. One from which countless legends have been born. A guild that will no doubt continue to create legends well into the future. "We do what Laxus asked us. Gray can take Lucy somewhere safe, well we stand here and protect the guild hall." Lucy is shocked, because the person who said this, is the one person no one expected to.

"Natsu? What are you saying man." Gray asks, not expecting his best frenemy of all people to agree with Laxus.

Erza takes a deep breath and then starts slashing at the hooded ghosts. "I agree with Natsu. We follow Laxus plans. We can deal with helping Lucy get out of this whole mess with Laxus later."

"Wait! No! I don't want to sit around well people-" Lucy was suddenly knocked out, the last thing she saw being Mira's hand, casting some type of sleeping spell on her.

"Here. Go take Lucy to the safehouse. Remember to be careful." Mira says, handing the sleeping blond to the ice mage.

Gray nodded. Cooling down a little now that Laxus' arrogant mug wasn't in front of him anymore. "You can count on me." With that, he picked Lucy up and was carrying her through the forest.

Laxus yawned bored. None of these weak phantom members had even made him move from his place in the very centre of the room. 

"Hey you!" a half black and half white haired guy called Laxus. Laxus turned around to face the man. Recognizing him from one the pictures Freed had shown them of the Element Four. If Freed's research had been correct and if he remembers right. This man's name was Totomaru and his element was fire. Meaning if he took him down, then that would slow the giant down, and then once the thunder legion finishes off the other three, then all he has to do is wait for Phantoms master to find him. Defeat him, and then his deal with blondi should be complete. 

'Don't go and get cocky now my son. Having your mate with you, and having her love you are two completely different things my boy.' Laxus heard Rakurai say in his head. The dragon soul within him has practically become his consiunise and his father since the lightning dragon slayer lacrima was planted inside of him when he was a child.

'I know that.'

'Do you really. Because telling your mate she has to be with you, or you won't help her isn't exactly a great way to start a relationship, you know.' Rakurai says teasingly.

'I know that too.' Laxus yells back at him metaly. Laxus was so caught up in his conversation that he didn't realize that he had taken Totomaru out well he was arguing with his dragon side.

"Well I guess I just now have to wait for either the dragon slayer or their master to come to me." Laxus yanes. The knocked out fire mage did absolutely nothing to cure his boredom.

Laxus had just felt the giant stop when he heard Jose come onto the loud speaker again. "Listen hear, Fairy Tail. You may have been able to stop my giant. But I have fulfilled my goal nonetheless." Jose took a pause, you could hear the man dragging something. The sound system was then filled with cries of pain. Though Laxus has only heard that angelic voice a couple of times, at this point, he had come to recognize it better than his own voice. At that moment Laxus swore to every god he knew, that whenever he got his hands on whoever was guarding Lucy, that poor fool would wish that he was killed in this battle. "We have Lucky Lucy Heartfillia in our possession."

When realization of what was happening finally struck Laxus. Within an instant he was teleporting himself to the same room Lucy and Jose were in, by tracing Lucy's scent. Jose turned around when he heard a lightning cackle behind him. 

But what he saw was a truly terrifying sight. Because there stood the lighting dragon slayer. lighting surrounding him, and even flowing through his veins.

It seems like Jose was about to find out just what happens when you mess with a dragon slayers mate.

He was about to find out what happens when you lay a finger on Lucy of Fairy Tail.

Because when you touch Laxus' Lucy, you better be ready for the lighting that follows.
