I looked up as I heard a little boy crying out for his daddy, his little voice was just so cute and his faced matched. He was the cutest, I smiled rubbing my belly thinking about how my life was about to change. I looked up from the little boy to his daddy and boy was he a daddy alright a fine one at that. He looked familiar like I recently saw him, but I didn't know him by name. It was a silent awkward stare for a second before I opened my mouth and spoke. His eyes were to glue on my belly, then it clicked he was the man at Chili's the other night.

"He's cute, how old is he?" I asked breaking the silence. "3 going on 30 hell he a hand full." He said and we both shared a laugh. "Your first?" He asked pointing to my stomach. "And last. "I said, and he laughed exposing his pearly white teeth. "damn" I thought to myself this gotta be the worst time to be pregnant, he was fine a mocha complexion, nice and neatly groomed and his smile was a plus. He had a pretty cool vibe too; he wasn't cocky, and he obviously take care of his son. "take it easy momma." He smiled before being forced away by his son.

"who was that?" My momma asked as I walked down to the end of the aisle where she was at. "Some random dude." I said following behind her to the next isle. I pulled out my phone and went to my settings to unblock Andre's number as much as I hated to do this, it was long overdue.

Me: Hey this is Harmony I need to talk to you whenever you get time.

I didn't know if he still had my number saved and I wanted him to know it was me. "I'm buying this." My momma said grabbing some baby bibs off the rack. They were cute, designed in pink cheetah print one reading "Grandma's Girl". I laughed I was so caught up in my phone, I wasn't even paying attention to where I was going just following my mommas' feet. this lady got me over here in the baby section. "Momma can you wait to see what I'm having first?" I asked watching her really put the bibs in the basket.

"I can buy whatever I want to for my grandbaby." My momma said rolling her eyes at me walking off. I laughed. "Yeah keep that energy, I save my money." I mumbled. "Shittttttt you finally finna get yo karma, you stay running my pockets." My momma said I didn't think she heard my little smart comment. "You made me this way what you expect." I said laughing and she rolled her eyes at me. "I hope this baby is a little girl, imma spoil her rotten just to give you more hell." My momma said looking back at me laughing as we approached the register.

"Look and that's your grandbaby and she gone be with you." I said laughing this lady is crazy. "Shitttttt." my momma rolled her eyes to the back of head. "Excuse me this might sound crazy cause you pregnant obviously, but are you single?" Ole dude said walking in between the register with his son in one hand and bags in the other. "Aint nothing crazy bout that, it's just a question baby." My momma chimed. I rolled eyes, I guess we did have that bad. "Yes, I am" I said smiling hard as fuck, I'm sure he could tell the excitement on my face.

"Would it be weird if I asked you for your number? I wanna take you out sometime and get to know if yo soul is as soft as your beautiful face." He said letting off a small smile showing a little teeth rubbing his hand across his bread. I smiled, well I haven't stopped smiling since he approached me, but I grabbed his phone out his hand entering and saving my contact. once done I turned his phone back to him. "I'll talk to you a little later, take it easy mamas." He said as grabbed his phone gently out my hands never losing contact with me until he finished talking,

I smiled watching him walk away. "He was handsome, and he was a gentleman." My momma said snapping me out of my thoughts. I was still in complete Awe. At my age not too, many boys want to deal with a girl that has a baby yet alone a teenage girl that was pregnant. I'll talk to him and see where things go though, I mean I don't have nothing to lose. "I don't know what he wants with me, he knows I'm pregnant." I said as I walked out the store next to my momma pushing the basket. "Never know God send certain people in your life for a reason though." My momma said as loaded up the truck.
