“Amed ji!” Ashrah beamed after seeing the love of her life.

Amed was her distant cousin who paid visit to her home sometimes. They liked him very much and considered him as their own son. He was the only one who showed affection towards her. He had even confessed his love for her when she touched her puberty. Since, then she became his lovely Jaan (endearment).

“Ashrah, my dear!” He opened his arms to embrace her. “How are you, jaan?” He asked, stroking her long hair.

“Why did you take so much time to return? I missed you a lot.” She mumbled as if it was like a complaint. He was the only one who loved her. His love was the light giving her hope.

“I know you will be worried without seeing me.” He cupped her face with so much affection.

“Our Ahmed bhai is gone.” She whimpered. Nobody was there to give her a shoulder to cry and let alone confront her.

“I am very saddened to hear of your loss.” He expressed his condolences in his deep voice.

“You know I badly needed your presence then.” She didn't need to fear when talking to him. Perhaps, he was the one she could talk, peacefully.

“Always remember jaan, my heart goes out to you in your time of sorrow.” His sweet words and gestures made her the happiest person.

“I am sorry dear. I couldn't be with you then. I am so sorry.” He apologized.

“It's okay Amed ji. I know you are a busy man.” She smiled for his benefit. “When did you come?”

“Just half an hour ago.” He said, looking everywhere. “Where's Fariyah? I haven't seen her since I came here. Is she okay?” He inquired about the widow.

“Bhabhi isn't fine at all. Maybe she couldn't come out of the shock. How could a loving wife accept her husband no more?” She felt bad for her sister-in-law. Although Fariyah always bullied her, she couldn't hate her. Fariyah was her brother's wife, so she would respect her.

“Yeah, Fariyah and Ahmed loved each other. Certainly she feels a void in her life. Where is she now? I have to say my condolences. Where can I expect to see her?” He was truly concerned about her sorrow.

“She always stays in her room. You can see her there. I will make a cup of coffee for you.” She said making her way to the kitchen.

“Don't forget to add more sugar.” He called out, adding his sweet coated smile.

“I know.” She walked to the kitchen with a shy smile.

Amed walked over to Fariyah's room after Ashrah went to the kitchen. He slid into the room and locked behind him.

“Fariyah,” Her name came out of his lips as a sensual whisper.

Fariyah turned around with a smile of adoration. How couldn't a woman adore a hot and sexy man like him?

He took his strides toward her, keeping his eyes on her tempting body. “Please accept my heartfelt sympathies on the loss of your loved one.”

His hand trailed on her face, like a tease. “Words can't express how saddened I am to hear of your loss.”

“Stop your drama.” She slightly tapped on his chest. He smiled smugly as he pulled her towards him.

“My beautiful Fariyah!” His hands possessively wrapped around her curvy body.

“My handsome Amed!” She pecked his lips.
