Jake's POV

"Hey Meg!".

"Hey! What brings you here?"

"Well, I just want to ask you if---"

"Meggy Babe! Where have you been??"

"Ohh Babe! Jake here is just asking something. What is it again, Jake??", she asked me.

But I saw her BOYFRIEND glaring at me like he is saying that I should left them already.

"Ohh, it's nothing Meg. I'll just see you later.", I said then walked out of the cafeteria.

What do I expect? Of course, nothing's new.

If only I can do something to bring back the old her.

"Jake!"

"Oh crap! Chelle, you scared me to death!", I said almost yelling at her.

"Oopps! Sorry, I was just passing by when I saw you thinking really deep. Is there something that bothers you?", she asked as if she's really concern about me.

This girl. Chelle Erwin. She and Meghan are my only friends here in Bay View High. We're already in 9th Grade but people here still don' like me. But I don't care! As long as they're both here for me, Chelle and especially Meghan, my best friend.

2 Days After

Jeez! I've been calling Meg for almost straight 3 hours and until now, she's not yet picking up! What's her problem?

What's the date today???

Oh no....

I'm such a jerk!

How could I totally forget about that?!

I ran to my car and drove as fast as I could.

Now, I've been driving around for 30 Minutes and I still don't know where to find that girl.

Wait, I have an idea.

I just don't think if she's okay right now but I hope so.

"Meghan!"
